I always bring in my own CD's, cause the music selection at my club sucks.
I brought in my disc tonight of obscure rock/techno/whatnot.
Among those songs was "22:20" by Puscifer. GREAT fucking song. Knew about the band before but learned about the song here on SW in the Music Mix section.
So...The DJ plays this song for me to dance to. I dance to it, got no tips but noticed some people by the side of the stage that seemed pretty into it.
As I am walking to the second stage, a bouncer comes up to me and asked me what the song was and who it was by. I told him, then I asked why he wanted to know.
He said there were some customers at the side of the stage that wanted to know, and pointed to the people I mentioned above.
So, I am all excited thinking these guys liked my style, and go approach the table.
They acknowledge me, and say..."Hey! That song was so awesome! Would you mind if our girl here (pointed to another stripper sitting with them) danced to it? It's an awesome song, we'd just like to see her dance to it. No offense, we just think someone sexier needs to dance to that song. So is it cool if she steals it for her next stage?
WTF, WTF, W.T.F?
No matter what I do, what I wear, how much I smile, move sexy, exude sexy, work my stages, it's always a fuck-over in one way or another. THIS, though, is a new one. It's a first for me. Customers actually asking for me to lend my song to another dancer? Please!
I could go on for days asking what I do so wrong that this shit happens to me.... I am doing the best I fucking can. People suck.
They need someone sexier to do the song justice. For pete's sake.
