I've been vegetarian for years, and have been thinking about going vegan for awhile, but hadn't actually made an attempt at it. It was always kind of a "well, I could...someday..." thing in the back of my mind.
When I first became vegetarian, it wasn't really a conscious thing that I had to work at. Something just suddenly clicked over in my mind one day--I looked at the meat on my plate and randomly felt like vomiting at the thought of eating it. From then on, meat just never seemed like food to me--I never thought of meat as an edible possibility or had any cravings for it. Maybe I'm weird.
And now the same thing happened tonight with the boiled egg in my dinner salad. I ate a few pieces of the egg and felt disgusted, and just turned off from eating it. Like all of a sudden, I randomly thought "wtf am I doing eating boiled chicken embryos?" (Sorry to be grossBut that's just what popped into my head.)
So I guess my mind and/or body is telling me it's a good time to go vegan.I'm going to post updates as I go along, cause there have been quite a few veganism threads here in the past, so just in case anyone else is curious about going vegan and would like to read one person's experience...

I use to get really bad stomach aches like once a week & they would hinder me at work & social life but since February, I haven't had a single stomach ache
