    Default Who has gray hair?

I'm 24. I started finding white hairs when I was 16. I dye my hair regularly, and I forget all about my weird white head until the roots grow out...and I have more each time I look!

I know 16 is pretty early to go gray...anyone else? Or am I just special?

ME! Since I was 17. It got a lot grey-er in my early 20s, but seems to be in a holding pattern right now. All the women in my family go grey early.

I've had a few since in my early 20's. I'm almost 30 now and they're coming in like a mofo. Plus they seem more resistant to dye lately too, which sucks.

If I want to cover them up adequately I need to go to a salon, can't dye my hair at home.

Goodlord. I had grays growing up. Since I was like 10. Now at 24 my hairdresser says I'm about 60% gray.

I was a teenager too when I was first sprouted mine.... I'm over 30 and I have a lot of gray. I don't mind going gray so much. It's annoying though because the hair is wild and really unruly. When I go too long between hair appointments someone always has to point out "OMG do you know you have gray!?" I would rather just go gray gracefully than always stress to hide the inevitable...

I've heard that women with naturally dark hair are more likely to get gray hairs earlier.

God i thought it was just me!
I noticed some greys when i was about 20(im 23 now) they are jsut near my crown about 10 of them, when i see them i do pluck them, i know its bad but i cant help it, i refuse to get old early. I think that is partly the reason ive gone back to blonde as when i was dark haired i could see them so easily.

I think I noticed my first grey hairs around 17 or 18. My best friend pointed the out to me. I see them a lot more frequently now but I'm not visibly grey. My hair is very dark brown/black and culry so I think its easier to disguise.
I always had a facination with naturally white hair, though. I kind of fantasize about having hair like Storm from the X-Men by the time I'm forty. That would be badass!

I have dark hair and I try hard to keep it dark. I have to get my roots done every 3 weeks! I do take prenatal vitamins though. I have had grey hair forever, but now it is getting bad!

I'm not too bothered about the grays since I've decided to go blonde, easier to camouflage. And I'm not ashamed about going gray - just means I'm an old soul!

My natural hair color is a very gray blonde/brown, I used to dye it red in my early-mid teens and when my roots would come in, next to the red my natural color looked purely gray. People would be like: "OMG you have gray hair?!"

Yes, and people do point them out. I consider myself too young to be gray, and they are out of control! Luckily, they aren't very wirey, but they are everywhere! No matter which way I part my hair, there are a ton of gray roots. I'm not ready to have them yet--I'll age gracefully when I'm 60!

I also have a couple of grey hairs and one is right in my bangs!! Do not pull them out, they will grow back and fast!!! I did some research though, and I guess you can reverse it with Copper. It says that a lack of copper or too much copper can cause early greying. I guess Cleopatra and many other empresses and kings and queens used this method of copper back in the day. I just turned 28 a couple of days ago and I feel you guys on the whole grey hair topic. Its just downright depressing!!! Feels like your getting old way too fast!! Here, I wrote down the info but don't have the web address of where I got this but this is what is says, Warning long!!!: Silver&Copper-Is a natural mineral known for its beautifying affects. Silver is know for its antiseptic and healing properties. Copper Deficiency: Shows in the form of thin skin, vericose veins, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, skin sores, eczema and grey hair.
Without copper skin becomes dull and lifeless as cell renewal slows. Scientific studies have PROVEN that copper stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans(gag's) in the skin, which thickens the skin, thus reducing fine lines and wrinkles, while improving skin strength and appearance. Copper acts as a potent anti-oxidant and restores the skins ability to retain moisture and repair itself. There are many copper dependant enzymes in the skin that, one activated, increase the benefits of natural tissue builiding processes which rejuvenates skin. This leads to firm and soft skin in much less time than most other anti- aging therapies. Copper continues to play a vital role as we age. It's responsible for keeping our skin and HAIR in good condition and plays a part in the reproduction of melanin. Some claim that applying a Colloidal Copper supplement to the scalp, REVERSES GREY HAIR!!! Its been used for milennia by empresses, queens, princesses, and the rich and famous of their day, together with gold for beauty and anti aging treatments. Dr. Joel Wallach, author of Dead Doctors Don't Lie, recommends trying colloidal copper supplementation before opting for a face lift or any other type of lift, as the colloidal copper usually works better. Applying colloidal copper to the face and scalp is an excellent way of delivering additional copper to the body. The article also states that Colloidal Copper Skin Toner is the copper supplement of choice because it contains ultra small, nano particles, of pure copper in purified water- nothing else and comes in a convenient spray bottle. Well I hope whoever reads this enjoyed the info. I am a super natural health freak so I try to use all natural methods. I haven't yet tried this, but have read before how important copper is to the body.
