Default Washing hair with extensions.. help please!

As most of you know, I've got the sewn in extensions. My stylist said it lasts longer if I just wash my natural hair and not the extensions. I'm confused though.. I haven't washed my hair since I've gotten it done and I need to.

What's the best way to go about it?

But it's okay to wash my whole head?

I had glue in wefts... I washed my whole head but I avoided scrubbing the parts where the extensions were connected. Dunno how it works with braided and sewed hair. I am guessing it will be more secure than mine were. Just beeee careful.

You don't need to wash the extension hair. Just wash your scalp gently, kind of patting the shampoo in, but dont rub really. Allow the sudsy water to run down your extension hair, but you dont need to actualyl lather that up seperatly. The sopy water running down will get it clean.

When you condition, don't do the roots, just do the extension hair.

Ps..rise really, really good. Make extra sure you've got all the shampoo out of the wefts. When you dry, try your best to get the braided hair completly dry. I've smelled moldy hair before from people not getting it dry in the braidsed part/wefts.

u should make sure u wash under each weft tho for scalp health.
