You have to be the first.. because I make shitacious money when I'm angry and the money flows quicker than coke up a stripper's nose when I'm happy.

Definitely not, however I am competitive and I do like to try my best to be top earner of the night.
I'm thinking about even asking the bartender to let me in on whether I made the most money and if not how far I'm behind. I don't need to know names (eh, you usually know anyway) but I am definitely motivated to compete.

no...I make more money when I'm in a "don't give a shit" mood, but that's different from angry (which doesn't really work too well for me).
Very rarely I will bank on a night when I'm in one of my angry-sarcastic-smart-ass-I-hate-the-world-and-I'll-take-it-out-on-you moods. Usually I just storm around until about midnight and then go home with very little to no money and then take it out on my boyfriend/roomate/friends.
Yes. I'm high maitanence.
The world's most uncoordinated stripper
I wish.
If so, I'd make a whole lot more money than I do. I am so stressed out all the time I very rarely go in with a good attitude.
I went in tonight feeling sorry for myself, crying in the bathroom stall...the whole 9 yards.
8 hour shift tonight....I walked with 30$.

NEVER, but I've become adept at leaving my mood at the door for the most part.
I used to make more money when I went into work and was really pissed @ my boyfriend. I didn't notice if I felt more competetive or not, though.

I make horrible money when I'm in a bad mood. Sometimes though a good tipper turns that right around. You're lucky to be able to work in a bad mood.

So far I haven't been in a bad mood exactly. It's more like I'm already burnt out from stuff at home, distracted, or feel unmatched to the crowd (e.g., me + amateur night crowd = no money). I just don't have my mojo, and I feel off. I hang in there, and hustle my tushie off, but it's sort of like trying to rationalize verbally with the tide: my agency/power is just not there, so I make the most of it.
Good mood = good money, with seemingly little effort, as if it's just coming to me because people are drawn to me. Also, when I'm happy, I'm less stressed and preoccupied with money. It seems that when you're not thinking "gotta make $__", sometimes you can do better (then again, I'm terrible with goal-setting because I can't tell what my night is going to be like and don't want to be disappointed; I try to give it my all as much as I can every shift).
I also realized that I do better on the 4-10 shift than the 8-2, so I'm seeing that I go in by default with a better mood when I start at 4. Maybe it's self-prophecy or just my biorhythms kicking in.
I'm so sorry to hear it. What's going on? Is the club going downhill?
I can relate to the ick feeling when it's a low-earning night despite working for it. It gets hard not to internalize it and take it personally.

shit i wish i did but i have Anger management issues. if i am in a bad mood i have to leave or dont go in. something bad might happen.

I make a lot more money when I'm just plain having fun and being relaxed. Customers like to forget that you're there to work, want to feel that you're enjoying THEIR company and just hanging out with them for the fun of it.
Sure, I sit and talk a few minutes longer than most other girls at my club, but for all of the customers who ask ME if I'd like to dance for them, it's VERY worth the few extra minutes of time.

I think it has something to with being goth. Happy goth just looks weird.
be glad you can work it, so many people can't.

OMG, I am a complete bitch when I am in a bad mood and my money suffers. I envy you for being able to use that to your advantage.

I wouldn't say I make more money when I'm in a bad mood but I definitely make more money when I'm in an "i don't care if I make money or not" mood. If I need the money, I don't make it. When I don't need the money, it flows.

bad moods are awful for my money. i've had a few lucky slow nights when i was just feeling a bit bitchy and happened to make a lot more for a lot less than would be expected, but it was still far from bank. i made really good money the next shift because of how happy luck had made me.

I tend to do well when I don't want to be there. I'm not sure if it is me forcing myself to do my damn job, or what.
