i take a taxi and it's only 10 minutes without traffic.
The drive to my current club is usually somewhere between and hour and a quarter to an hour an a half (sometimes more if traffic is bad). It is very important that my dancing stay on the DL, so I figure I have a better chance of not running into someone I know if I don't work too close to home (though of course there are no garuntees...)

My bus picks up a half block from my apartment and drops off directly across the street from the club. To get home, security walks me two blocks to the bus stop and I sort of ooze off the bus back home! If it's later and my usual bus isn't running, I get to hop the 15, with was voted "Most Interesting Bus Route" by the Westword, lol! It lives up to it's name most nights.

15-2o minutes ideally, but I take the 101 to the 405, so that should say it all.

1.5 hours to my club.

30 mins to mine, looking to move closer...

i'm not sure which to pick, because my commute is about exactly 20 minutes. sometimes it's 15, sometimes it's 25, but about 20 average.

Normally about an hour, but the new club I'm trying out 30 min.
Either way though it still tires me out, driving through nothing. When I'm at the further club, the first half of the ride is city and has curves and lights and buildings, but the last part home is just straight highway with pretty much just land and gas stations surrounding me. It takes a lot to stay awake that 30 min, at either club.
Why do I do it, but there aren't any closer.
I take a taxi and it is literally less than 5 minutes, more like 3.

I've been wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking this.

i live within walking distance to my club, but its about a 3 minute drive. saves me so much on gas....
For clubs it's roughly 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. For parties it can range from 30-45 because sometimes we will go out of our way if it means a more "trusted crowd" or people we feel more comfortable being around. I'd rather drive 40 minutes away if it meant I'd be around guys who behaved themselves.
living close to work im pretty watchful of anyone following me home.
always remember if you feel you are being followed drive to a police or fire station. if thats not possible some public place with as many people as possible.
I'm not dancing yet but I have a feeling that gas prices will force me to drive withn 5-20 minutes.

its less than 10 minutes for me.
I travel about 30-40 minutes because that's just the club I want to work at (and I still live 20 minutes from the nearest club that I DONT want to work at). I'm moving soon, so it will be a 20 minute drive, which I'm happy with. I've lived literally down the street from a club once and it made me really paranoid to go home. I'd always have my bf pick me up if he could and drive around the town for a bit.

My old club...2 minutes. new club with my secret route ..20 minutes-45 if traffic is shitty
as damp as a cellar. . . all mildewy I'm as damp as a cellar. . . all mildewy
An hour 45 with moderate traffic. I hate it and it sucks. It can be 2+ with traffic. Or 1:30 without, but there is ALWAYS traffic
I only dance out of state anymore, hence the 4+ hours. Its roughly 20 hours to Missoula from here and about the same to anywhere else decent to dance.

It takes me about 15-20 minutes to get to my club. I drive like a bat-outta-hell, though.![]()
My drive can be up to two hours, depending on traffic, so I selected 2 hours. It's usually less, though. I hate driving already, so living where I live is my own personal Hell.
