A good friend of mine thinks that there is not good money in stripping anymore and that I should get a regular job. I told him I enjoy dancing and that I don't want to get a regular job. He thinks the economy sucks everywhere and that dancers all over the country are struggling.
Times are tough at a lot of clubs here in Wisconsin-an average night's earnings is usually between $100 and $200 and a really good night is $300 and up. I've had more nights under $100 during this past year than I care to admit-sometimes due to my own fault, but sometimes due to a lack of customers. But Wisconsin is not a great place to dance-never really has been. There are a handful of good clubs here (but I got fired or in trouble at most of them for drinking too much back when I was drinking really heavily), but at the majority of the clubs here, they don't have very many dancers, so you have to bust your ass going on stage all the time for not very much money. Plus many of the clubs here make you stick to a strict schedule and you have to work 10 or 11 hour shifts. Many of the clubs here also have no cover charge, which attracts lots of cheapskates with no money. Also, many clubs here take half your lap dance money, which I think is total bullshit.
Since I've told you all this, you're probably wondering why the hell I choose to dance in Wisconsin.Well, right now I'm on probation for some stupid shit I did last summer, so I really can't do much traveling right now. But as soon as I get off probation, my dream is to travel around the country and strip. I want to prove to my friend that there are plenty of strippers out there averaging $300 or more a night, so if you are making good money, please don't be shy and let me know who you are and where you are! I want to show my friend this thread and prove him wrong. LOL

I believe you Dottie and you have my support

I make good money, and most of the girls I've worked with do too. At several clubs, and in several different cities. Who gives a crap what your "friend" thinks, if he's not paying your bills and setting up up with a fat retirement account?
