Default Suggestions in PDX for a noob?

Hey ladies - I've been lurking for about 2 months, and was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for a few places for a newbie to audition in PDX? I've been working out, have pretty good rhythm, and have been taking a beginning pole class....

Any advice greatly appreciated! I love you guys!

If you want stage clubs... try Acropolis or Club 205 (205 is awesome, btw, it's where i'm at)
If you want dance clubs... try the dolphin clubs or stars cabaret

some other ones that sound cool but i've yet to try are the lucky devil lounge (non-smoking and fairly new, suicide girl style dancers), Sassy's (stage focused, women-owned) and Exotica. Union Jack's seems pretty cool but I hear the girls there are mean, the stage fees are exorbitantly high and that it's hard to sell dances.

Cool! Thanks for the suggestions - I'm looking for a place to work probably during the day until I get my "stripper legs", lol

    Thanks for the help!

club 205 will definitely hire you for dayshifts- no problem. Just call the number for rockstar and they'll hook you up. Money during days is good-- actually money for every shift is good. It's the most consistent money of any club i've worked at in pdx. You'll definitely get used to dancing fast working there too-- you're on stage for 10, off for 10, your whole shift!

^nah... the songs aren't cut that short. I'd say on average you're on 10/off 10 because I always do exactly 12 stage sets in a four hour shift. You dance for three songs, rest for three songs, over and over all night. It's awesome. I'm getting in really good shape.

No info about PDX , but if you were close to me and I was a customer, I would no doubt buy dances from you.

I'd definitely recommend LD/DP for a beginner. The first place I ever danced was day shift at Devil's Point. Day shifts there are great for beginners b/c, well, half the time no one's there and you play your own music. Nice to segue to evening shifts as well.

Giiiirl, I'd give you a dance to REMEMBER...until I tripped over my shoes and fell in your lap! Ha ha

And thanks for the suggestions, guys...I'm going to get all waxed up in a week and then call around for auditions at the LDL and DP, maybe 205 but I doubt I'm ready for that. I LOVE PORTLAND STRIPPERS!!
