Default The Rocky Horror/Shock Treatment Appreciation Thread!

Fuckin' A! I got the 25th Anniversary boxed set of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Shock Treatment for mother's day! That little one sure knows what mommy likes, ha ha. I've been after Shock Treatment for ages...I couldn't even find it on ebay. I completely creamed myself this morning when I opened that.

I know everyone knows Rocky Horror, but who's seen Shock Treatment? I can't be the only one! I used that theme song in my nurse show! LOVE IT! Why can't someone make another good rock n' roll show?

Ya need a bit of shock treatment! Getcha jumpin' like a real live wire!

Oh, for those that haven't seen it, here's some shock treatment for ya. Patricia Quinn is hot. I'm watching the Shockumentry right now. Rocky Horror extra footage is tomorrow.

RHPS yes, Shock Treatment, an unfortunate no. I wanted to like it!

I hated it the first time too, but it grew on me. I think it took me three or four attempts to like Rocky too. It is kinda...out there, I guess.

The wacky summer camp I went to as a kid put on a play version of Shock Treatment... by the time they were done taking all of the "offensive" stuff out, it made even less sense.

    Shock Treatment kicks ass.

I actually prefer it to Rocky Horror... Nurse Ansalong... duuurrrh....

Growing up I was in a Rocky Horror cast out in the San Fernando Valley that I helped found and it was loads of fun. I was the Brad primary and - surprisingly at the time - the backup Columbia since I was the only one on the cast who could fit into the costume. I sometimes miss being part of Wild & Untamed Things cause those were some good good times, but nowadays the live shows kind of bore me. But then again I think anything gets boring once you are well into the triple digits.

We did a Shocky Horror night once. That was pretty fun, even though I was only performing security by then so I got to spend most of the night being hit on by underaged girls and turning them away while watching this other security person get hit on by underaged girls and NOT turn them away. Yep...

It can be difficult to make a recently single man pay for sex when he knows that a quick trip to the local watering hole would secure at least one hard drunken tumble for far less cash. It is even more difficult when he is something of a dead ringer for James Bond as played by Daniel Craig and possesses the sort of awkard charm and confidence that brands a man like him as a lady killer.

I am a former Rocky slut, but these days I only get around to going like once a year just to re-up my virginity.

When I was in high school there was a load of Rocky sluts and we actually would perform scenes in the cafeteria during lunch. I remember playing Janet in 4 degree weather (farenheight) as the snow dumped down, lol.

I always played Janet, god I love her so much. There's something about that sweet innocence that I can just kind of nail perfectly. Someday though I still want to master Columbia's tap dance.
