Think of it this way they go to strip clubs to make themselves feel better by being judgmental and flexing power they don't really possess...

You are there to make a living. End of story.

This is not for you directly but more for all of us as we've certainly encountered these types before:

Jackasses like this need to compete on a regular basis and probably don't get along with women in general. Too competitive, combative, must be right, you need to prove something to them, they want to watch you squirm trying to squeeze money out of them. Don't. Go. There.

Get up on them mid sentence even if they are talking to you and and move on.

It is very tempting to want to get their money even more but that is when you fall into their trap. Fuck em' and let someone else take their money if they can get it.

I don't feel you blew the sale but that is exactly what they want you to think. It is an underlying factor for them.

It's just their twisted little game. Don't fall for it.

Yeah, these guys are a piece of work. They walk into OUR workplace and assume that they can dupe us out of doing our job.

Makes me feel like asking them if they would walk into a hospital and try to keep a doctor from saving lives. "Come oooooon, Doc, why won't you just talk to me awhile?"

There are other kinds of doctors for control freaks like that!

^ I see your point, but I don't think working in the entertainment/sex industry can really be compared to doctors. Part of our problem as strippers is that our time can technically be spent in any way we want it to--we really could sit and put up with their bullshit if we wanted to without any serious repercussions. That's why we get so many people who do this to us.

I've seen people in other bars and restaurants do it. The server is trying to get away and they won't stop their yappin'.

^ You're so right! That was one of the most embarrassing parts of having a sugardaddy, actually. No sense of social norms. Kept this poor waitress talking to him forever, and then tipped her 15%. Ridiculous.

I don't understand why guys suddenly want to give you money when you act like you don't want or need it... but when you really need money, they can sense it and won't spend on you!
Because some guys want what they can't have, and by walking away you are making yourself inaccessible.

is it just me or has there been an abnormally high amount of these argueing idiots lately? i figure they are time wasters and thats their technique at keeping the girl there longer. or they genuinely have no fucking social skills. some dumbass actually had the nerve to tell me that our conversation was benefitting me cause "we are learning so much about each other". it was so hard not to roll my eyes at him as i got up and left.

Ugh, these guys get under my skin. Half the time, if I'm in a good mood and have already made my goal for the night, I'll test my bullshitting and debating skills by out maneuvering and occasionally out manipulating them. Otherwise, I roll my eyes, say "Okay, back to work for me. Have fun, honey." and do just that.

Sometimes it works to get my two measly dances out of 'em, sometimes it doesn't.
