I kinda feel bad too when someone who's just super-lonely spends a lot of cash on me. Especially if they're really nice. You feel like he ought to have someone to hang with for free, you know?

I don't feel bad if it's someone who seems well-off that's just looking for party though. Fun costs money, yo.

I used to have that kind of guilt. Only with the VIP's where I just sat/drank/chatted, though. It's not that I didn't think that I was not "worth" the money customers spent on me, it was more that they shouldn't have to spend that kind of money to hang with a chick. I felt for them, I suppose. I can relate. I think it's a good thing and shows that you're not jaded and have a good compassionate type of humanity to ya.

You should be happy. It was a win/win and he most likely enjoyed spending on you and wanted you to be happy.

No way! He obviously had fun if he was there for so long. And guys spend a lot of money on bullshit anyways. This time it's he's splurging on a great time with a hot chick!

The only time I felt bad was when i was with a really nice guy in a room for a long time and he tried touching after about 2 hours. I politely said no, and he started flat out crying about how he was so sorry and his wife died a year ago and he hasn't seen a women naked since then...and I felt bad for being so harsh but it was a rough night. He gave me a huge tip and profusely apologized. It wasn't even a 'bad" touch. he was trying to kiss my knee.. it just freaked me out.

Yes, I have. I had a regular who would buy me jewelry, come in for me like clock work, never touch me, try to get OTC, or anything remotely creepy. If I wasn't at the club, he paid his cover, apologized to the dancers and left right away without getting any dance. He was young and cute and funny. He tipped well and I think he considered me more a friend/therapist than anything else - I rarely even danced for him during our dances. Then I took a vacation and some bitch told him I quit so he never came back.

The point is, the great ones understand that we're working - they genuinly like women, or even us as individuals. They are the customers that make this job worth doing. It's normal to feel a bit sad or guilty that we only met a really cool guy through work, when he could have been a great friend if we'd met in the freezer isle at Meijers.

I only feel bad if it's some sweet/ naive kid giving me every last crumpled dollar bill in his pocket. Someone else (with a suit and maybe 10 years his senior) could spend twice (triple, quadruple, etc) that and I wouldn't feel bad. I see a lot of military kids and some of them are assholes but some of them are so sweet! I've even had a few call me ma'am afterwards... not in a way that made me feel offended, but in a way that I could tell was just a byproduct of their training. I never do it, but sometimes I have this strong urge to pinch their cheeks and go, "AWWWWW!"

If you were a car salesman would you feel bad if someone spent 3 grand on a car? I don't think so. You are selling a product, your not forcing anyone to buy it its up to them. If they can't afford the product your seling them thats not your problem. Estate agents don't feel bad when someone spend thousands on a house they're selling but they still get a commission for it. Take more pride in your product!

i used to feel bad. not anymore. even if it is a nice guy, this is what they came in the club for. he knew what he was getting into, no one twisted his arm to spend the money, he chose to do so, and prob had a good time with you anyway.

I almost never feel bad for the customers I dance for.

But, there was one time that I really did feel for the guy. I gave him a string of dances towards the end of the night, and he was very polite. At the end, he asked me if he could take me to breakfast and watch the sun rise with him. Guys say that kind of shit all the damn time, but I could tell that this guy really needed that companionship. I could just feel the loneliness emanating from him. I cried the whole drive home. This sounds like hyperbole, but my heart broke for him a little. I think it was the look on his face when I said no that got to me.
