    Default Organic Hair Dye

So I have been having problems with hair dye the past couple of months. I switched places twice thinking it was their particular brand of color. I experienced horrible burning and itching and dandruff. It was really horrible. Someone suggested that my body might have formed an allergy to the ammonia and Paraphenylenediamine (PPD). The theory that your body chemistry changes every seven years. I went and googled organic hair dye and found a place in Philadelphia called JuJu. It was SO great! The dye didn't burn on my head and NO itching or flakes this time. She said her dye doesn't contain any ammonia and is the lowest PPD amount in it. A lot of people were skeptical when I said I found organic hair dye but whatever she uses it solved my problem. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem as me!

Well it's only the second day.... I will keep you updated and let you know. The color was a dark brown. It is SUPER shiny and a beautiful brown. A lot of depth.

I meant did it lighten your natural color? I'm trying to figure out if it's a permanent haircolor...

No.. it wasn't 100% organic. Just no ammonia and low PPD

Want to bring this back because my hair has turned copper colored almost and im allergic to PPD (Was put in the hospital back in 2014 the last time I dyed my hair.

PPD is an allergy that everybody has, and some people can go years with no symptoms and and some people get them the first time you use hair dye. Mine developed after 6 years of dying.

Has anybody found any PPD-free hair dye that works? I have bought some online and it washed it out in days.

Tints of Nature is an organic home color. It holds color reasonably well, and it covers gray.

That kinda stuff doesn't work for me..
I went to a dermo, she said my scalp was ok (I had a reaction, but the dumb stylist foiled my hair too soon after dying the roots way too dark)
The only thing that lifts/ lightens is bleach
When I next do my own touch-up, I use developer for sensitive scalp, there's also an additive you can put in
Using a bit of coconut oil on the scalp before/after dying helps, so does aloe (non alcohol)

Artic Fox is a really good natural hair dye. But you have to have BLONDE/blonde highlights for it to work on. There was another one I saw on facebook Ill have to find it another time and post it my friend used and she loved it more than Artic Fox because of the variety of colors they had.

I had Keune (sp) brand dye used on me, it was way too dark & very flat (no depth to the color)
