Lipoed places will retain fat deposits again during weight gain. I've seen many girls at my club that are overweight and overlipoed at the same time. Your best bet if you get it is to just maintain and work out, eat well. Then you should have no problems.

That's one of the things that always scared me about getting lipo. When I gain weight, it's always proportionate. I've heard when you get lipo, the fat never goes back to those areas so I'd be afraid that I'd end up looking freakish too if I ever gained weight back so I know what you mean. Then again, I've never had it, so I'm not sure if all of that's really true anyways. Yeah, I'm a big help, huh? lol.

Eventually it will go to the sucked out areas. Since you have less fat cells in the sucked areas it will go there last. If you gain 60lbs it will look like you never even had lipo.
Considering from last nights xanax and drinking binge you were on and knowing you've done t before...I don't recommend you get surgery at this time.

We are all born with a predisposed amount of fat cells that expand and contract depending on our diets. Some people are born with more fat cells than others, so of course the more fat cells one has, the more fat cells there are to expand due to overeating and such. It's a genetic thing.
I've had lipo in my belly and it worked out nicely for me. My stomach can actually be flat as long as I don't overeat. I used to be the thinnest girl at my club, but after my baby, I wasn't able to get a trim belly no matter how much I dieted and exercised. Now if I exercise and such, I am easily rewarded with a pretty nice tummy. It only takes a day or so for me to see results. I haven't noticed looking fatter in other places. I heard that it is a myth that fat migrates or suddenly grows in other areas of the body after lipo. It's just an illusion that the non-lipoed places look larger, because the lipoed places are smaller. Haha, I don't know if I'm making sense.
And no, you wouldn't end up looking like a freak if you gained a bunch of weight, however, the lipoed places would look lumpy.

Lipo is really just effective for contouring. I plan on having lipo in my thighs and flanks because my body stores more fat there then elsewhere. My understanding is that if I were to gain weight it would be more evently on my body and some would go to the areas that were lipoed, but not like now where that's where all my fat goes.

And what Bunny said, too. Lipo is not for weight-loss, but contouring and spot reduction.
I've had lipo, and i'm doing just fine. It's like exotica17 said. ....and bunny.
You can gain weight back to the places that had lipo. As for the lumpyness ,you would need some massages after lipo. Which are really painfull, but it does make your skin thight again. I went to south america for my surgery and had lipo, fatgrafting to the booty and my boobs done.
How about the lipodissolve? The injections that are supposed to melt fat and then your body processes it out on it's own. I've seen some before and afters of that, and while I'm sure the results are more subtle than surgical liposuction, it was definitely noticeable.
I'd think about lipodissove for my thighs and lower stomach. If I win the lottery.
I've had lipodisolve.........It helps only for a couple of days-but to be honest for me it was a total waste of money and time...........
