I use great products for the rest of my face but I just can't find any eyeshadows that last all night. I tried looking at makeup reviews and that didn't help. Can you gals suggest any thing?

I believe that the best products spoken about on this board is MAC products.

^^ yes, MAC is awesome for staying power. Be sure to apply a primer first and then put on your eyeshadow!
mac for sure, though i have good luck with a lot of brands...
check out kryolan also.

MAC eye shadows are of poor quality esp since they were bought out by Estee Lauder.
Which brand are you currently using?
Are you using a primer/base? If so then that is probably where your problem lies.
My favorite eyeshadow primers are; Urban Decay primer potion, Too Faced shadow insurance and MAC paint pots.

Yep. MAC and Kryolan. I have greasy eyelids (ew) and my shadow never ever ever stayed put until I used MAC Paint in Untitled as a base with MAC or Kryolan shadow overtop. Ben Nye can be decent too but the color range isn't as good as MAC, in my opinion.
\
I've always had good luck using MAC paints and then the Cream Base. Put the shadows over it (blotting, not rubbing on).
I've fallen asleep with my eyeshadow on and it's still there (looking pretty decent) the next morning.
kryolan also never goes bad they say its good for 100 years!
You could try this with the ones you allready have:
Use a base. If you don't have a base, put foundation over your eyelid, then apply shadow as normal. When you are done lightly dust loose powder over your eyes (with them closed of course) to set the make up.
When you do make up like this, I reccommend doing your eyes first and foundation later as you may need to remove excess powder or eye shadow dust from your cheeks.
Urban Decay Primer Potion makes any eyeshadow, even the crappy dollar story variety, stay on all night.
Yes that Urban Decay crap is bangin. I leave my house at 7pm and the eyeshadow is just as dark when I come home at 4 in the am.

i agree. urban decay primer potion is amazing.
make sure that when your udpp "runs out", you cut open the tube and extract the enormous amount of leftover primer potion into a jar. there is a TON in the bottle (in the part that you cannot reach with the wand).
note: i hope the above made sense. i have been sick all weekend and my brain is shot.
Yup^^^^ the product ROCKS but the design is poor.
I really hated urban decay primer. My friend who's a makeup artist swears by chapstick- but hell, I hated that too. Maybe it's my skin type?
I've noticed mac does seem to stay on a long time on the girls at work who wear it. I wear urban decay shadows, and they are decent. Most of the pop on my eyes comes from my liquid liner, which of course doesn't budge.
One girl at work today was just raving about Milan (sp?)- the shit you buy at the drugstore, like Wet or Jane or whatever- making great thick colored eyeliners that stay put and really pop.

Chapstick makes the e/s crease after a while.
Too faced shadow insurance is the shiznit... better than UDPP. Anybody who has tried both can attest to this (you can check out reviews online). It is very very similar to UDPP smoother/less drying so it makes it easier to blend eyeshadow.
I noticed the creasing with chapstick... but it can make for some really cool temporary effects, as can vasoline!
Yeah, I remember now UD being hard to blend, even when using dabbing motions... maybe a re-try is needed, I have some left over... how much is the too faced stuff?

urban decay, lorac, bobbi brown, NARS

Nars is by far the best.
Use your foundation/base on your lids first and some loose powder, then apply your eyeshadow.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

Napoleon Perdis from Sephora-the color disc is the name (I think). It's like $23 while the other NP shadows are about $19. Unreal staying-power. Intense color, too. I have somewhat oily lids, and I've found nothing to compare.
Also, Becca powder shadow (not the cream). Difficult to find, though. Online only way for me, since Sephora doesn't carry any longer. Wonderful basic, deep, natural colors.
Nars very popular and people tend to like. It's pretty messy, I find (for some reason, gets under eyes/on face much more likely). Fine stuff, though.
I've heard rave reviews about Shiseido's hydro shadow. It's in a pot. I want to try it-everyone I know who've used it loves it for its staying power.
