whenyou diy acrylic nails and the result is your nails look like they have frost on them instead of just being clear/pink that means youve used too much powder right?

Yes. Try using less powder next time.
Get your brush wet and lightly drag it across the top of the powder, don't dig into it or anything.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio

Okay I re-did them and the powder was the problem! I love it when things work out![]()

Where do you find the stuff to do them? Sallys?
Is it hard to get everything even on both hands?
I HATE going to the nail salon, I'd much rather do it myself. TIA
I think that I actually got a kit at target before.

Yeah, you can get everything you need at Sally's. The only thing you may need to get though, as a beginner is a little dribble tool. It's just like the ones they use in the salon to sand down the acrylic and make it even. You can buy the dribble kit at Walmart. Believe me, it makes a huge difference in how your nails will come out and alot less time.

Yeah I get the stuff at sallys. I think I'm using their brand right now. Its kinda of difficult to do the hand you write with. My left hand always looks much better(Im a righty). But I noticed that even when I fucked up with my powder last time you couldn't tell in the club. And my club really isn't as dark as some of the other local SC.
I had a friend teach me how...she used to do nails so I got a lot of pointers from herI just haven't done them is so long. Ahhh I love being lazy

Picture of messed up sugary looking nails![]()

Yeah, my writing hand always comes out worse. I got a really awesome rill kit at Sally's and I LOVE IT. Best 30 bucks I have spent in awhile. It's frusterating when you first start doing them yourself, but you get the hang of it after awhile.

Holy shit I had no idea you could buy kits for this. I'm very picky with my nails and I always wished that I could buy the shit myself and do my own at home....I never knew it could come true! I am going to Target now. I just need an industrial strength top coat like the kind they use at the salons.
I hope I can find a kit!
