It probably depends on the club. Girls wear gowns by choice at my club, plus we have designated gown times when everybody has to wear them.
im kinda glad im one of the few who wears gowns, and we dont have gown times, becuase it makes me stand out, but it would be nice if girls would make an effort to glam it up a bit more.

I have a huge appreciation for the girls who still dress in gowns at Gentlemen's Clubs. It just makes the club look so much better. I still love the traditional little stripperish skirt sets and such, but I've always been more of a gown girl myself. From what I've seen in SF, the "stripper wear" fad has died down and girls are going for lingerie. Corsets, garters the whole shabang.

I rarely see girls wearing gowns. Bikinis and short dresses are what most girls wear in northern WI.
i think it depends on your overrall look and personality. Girls that look really glam and sexy in gowns look goofy in legwarmers and girlie stuff. The girlie types with the skirts and legwarmers usually cant pull off the gowns. Just depends on the custie.

I hardly see them here either
I love legwarmers, but I love gowns, too. I see them both here, but more bikini's and booty shorts and sets than anything.
I would love to wear more gowns, but alas I'm short, lazy, and can't sew more than a button or patch. Plus they're hella expensive- and so is lingerie, which can be a pain in the ass to dance in, but yeah it does look sexy.
im that way i cant pull off the legwarmers and little two piece sets that look very "young" i guess. i think i looks silly in them.
There were a few girls in my old club that would wear gowns. I personally love gowns, and the whole "sophisticated woman" style! My new club is about to start enforcing a dress code where "dresses go below the knees." They didn't say gown, but it seems that's what they mean. I'm inspired by this to go for a whole glam, Dita von Teese look!

I remember an old friend of mine started wearing legwarmers at her club in 2003 (she had to have them made though, you couldn't find them being sold at the time), and some other girls gave her shit about it "Whatchu tryin to look like, a go-go dancer?" or some crap comments like that. It's funny now how they're all the hype. I used to to wear them when I was a teenager to raves all the time, but I wouldn't wear them in the club. Not my kind of stripper style.

No gowns where Im at.. too much work in a wanna dance environment... easier to just take the top off and dance.
BUT - I have thought about wearing gowns when Im trying to hardcore sell the lounge (vip area)....

I always wear gowns, but my club is short or long dress only, no 2 pieces.
On sat nights we now have to wear lingerie, which I thought sucked. I bought a cute little bra and skirt from VS but getting it on and off was such a pain on stage.
I wear it all: gowns, legwarmers and booty shorts, stripperish mini dresses...
the only thing I hate wearing is lingerie. It just doesn't last, and is outrageously expensive to keep replacing all the time. Screw that.![]()
I have one lingerie-ish outfit: a raspberry/wine colored form-fitting negligee-type dress and mesh stockings, but that's it for the lingerie.
yeah i dont do lingerie. unless its bra/thong sets. no thighhighs or gaarter belts for me. too much of a pain and yes they rip so easy!
The places I've gone in Jersey, never seen a gown, in FL yes.
I wear gowns pretty often when I have a long VIP. As soon as I get out, I usually get another... no one has seen me because the crowd has probably turned over at the point, and I'm the only one wearing something other than a neon spandex bikini (not that I don't have tons of those, I do).
Gowns are awesome if you're in sit and talk mode. If it's table dances and stage all night, I wear something easier to take off.
