Maybe I missed your other posts with the specifics of your situation, but if you could provide even one detail it would help a lot. Has your FICO score gone up? Been at your job 2 years now? Have you paid down your debt?

Until then I'm gonna go with....279.5 days. Not counting Thursdays.

Paid down or paid off? How long ago? Sometimes it can take a few months for the credit reports to update.

    Need more info.

You can, technically, apply for as many loans as you want. But, it impacts your score with too many inquiries. If it's been a few months and the credit is paid down (you can check your own report with no impact) you can always reapply. I know that shopping for a mortgage is a bit different than applying for credit. So, I think you get more "hits" on mortgage related stuff than they would give you on credit card/etc. Chances are, you are not getting 4 or 5 different mortgages, but you could get 4 or 5 different credit cards. I just do not remember the specifics of that.

    ^^^

When shopping around for mortgage or car loans CRAs will lump the inquiries together for 30 days so it only counts as one hard inquiry.

CCs are different. Each time you apply for a card you get a hard inq and they each count as one hard inq. No lumping

Paid 2 cards (this week) 1 has 100.00 balance, the other 350.00 balance. My worst card has 1800.00 balance one it (4200 limit). I will definately be paying more on each card next month. I know I won't be applying for any CC's any time soon.
Yes, it's the inquires that cause me concern.
    Thanks for the replies

You should get your CC utilization under 30% (preferable 10%) across the board... it will help immensly when getting a loan.
