    Default Gown club rules?

OK, so this summer I'm applying to work in a Dallas "gown club". I'm kind of unsure of this... The rules are that you have to have a dress and "no spandex or neon"--I'm guessing that they're trying to get you to not wear "stripper" clothes?

I've found a really beautiful gown that I'm just in love with, and one of my custies has offered to buy it for me, but I'm still kind of confused.

Would something like this be acceptable/appropriate? The color seems a bit bright, but it actually looks FABULOUS on me.

That dress is okay.... I say give it a shot.

Most gown clubs feature dresses like these..... http://www.chelseasofnewyork.com/sex..._gowns_s/1.htm

So your dress might be considered a bit conservative. If it doesn't work at the club I'm sure you can find other places to rock it.

^^^That's what I thought, too... But the club rules on their page say "no spandex", and so I didn't think those dresses would be allowed?

That's odd. Very odd in fact. Taking off a gown with a zipper is going to be a pain (especially if the zipper gets jammed... and they often do). Why don't you go an check the place out? Nothing like first-hand info....

I have gowns with lycra blend. I'm assuming they are saying no on the spandex because it shows panty lines. Or it tends to cut into peoples sides. Just a guess but I don't know.

I've worked at 3 gown clubs and all 3 had different rules to abide by. One was no slits in the front, or high on the sides. The other said the same only you couldn't how the hips or stomach..the list goes on. Honestly I'd go in and take a look to see what everyone is wearing.
