Default Anyone read Animorphs as a kid?

I just remembered that series and was reading all the little tidbits about it on wikipedia. Talk about nostalgia!!! I can pick up just about any Animorphs book, open it strait in the middle, and know exactly where I am. I think I must have read each book about 10 times. Gotta love em.

Ooh, something cool I found out in the last book is that the main character (Jake) and I are related (fictionally ) He has my mother's last name!!

*ahem* Aaanyway, just wondering if anyone else read those books..?

I used to read a few of those, but I was more of a Goosebumps girl

^ Lol I remember Goosebumps! I was too scared to read most of them, and the first one I read wasn't scary at all. I think it was called, "How I Learned to Fly".

I liked the one about the haunted amusement park. They eventually came out with a computer game of it, and I remember that game scared the crap out of me. About a year ago, I was looking around online to try to fine a copy of the game.. I'm so lame, but I'm dying to play it again!

Did you have any of the toys? Strangely, they were sold under the Transformers brand, which I love with all my heart. The Animorphs figures didn't look so great, though.

i remember reading them, but i was more of an Arthur Ransom kinda chick, i clung to adventure stories like it was my life. i never really *got* fantasy novels...i guess all non fiction is made up anyways, and searching for pirates treasure or sailing a boat for 3 days with your friends when your 10 is bullshit too, but i really wished that shit was more possible then being about to morph into an animal and stuff.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED animorphs. Even have the nickelodean VHS tape. I also own the ENTIRE series and am keeping them for my daughter when she gets old enough.
Also read most of the goosebumps and fear street and BSC books too. I was and still am a bit of a bookworm...
