    Default leather pants

I've seen some on runway pictures in magazines lately. Are they back "in fashion"?
They were worn really tight and I think the wet look is particularly popular.

Do any of you wear them?

I dont know if Im confident enough to wear some.

Anyone who has them, where did u get them?

I had ordered a pair from VS about 2 years back, fit the booty perfectly but it was too short. I guess I need a custom pair. I don't know if they are back on the style lists, but if you saw them on the runways then yeah it will be alot easier to find them in regular stores come fall.

I love love the type that Kat Von D wears, I guess she buys hers somewhere in L.A. Anyone know where and for how much?

I think leather pants are hot for a weekend type of look maybe not going to the grocery store. I went through a leather pants phase where I probably bought 6 pairs off of ebay. The best ones I have are the Banana Republic boot cut ones. I have a black pair from them and a brown pair from them. The leather is sooo soft! I don't think Banana Republic sells leather pants anymore though. You'll see some leather pants on ebay that are from the 80s with skinny ankles and pleats and I'd suggest to stay away from them. If you buy on ebay also make sure they are new, if not they could be stretched out to fit the other person's body and not fit you as well.
By the way leather gets really hot (temperature wise) to wear. So I wouldn't wear them in the summer. Leather doesn't breathe so if it's hot weather you'll be sweating inside the pants. I'm waiting until Fall or winter. They'll keep you really warm in bad weather though! That's one reason bikers like them.

I have a pair of low rise boot cut leather pants that I really LOVE. They look good with a lot of things. They were a gift...can't remember where they came from. I like them because they zip in the front like normal pants. I don't like the ones that have the zipper in back or that have a really high waist.

I hope they aren't in full fashion until I tone up some more, lol. I would love to be able to wear them as I think they are really hot.

You might want to check out Northbound Leather: http://www.northbound.com

They're a Canadian company who does mainly S&M clothing in leather and PVC, but they have a nice selection of pants, and they also offer custom work for an additional 25% of the price of the garment. I bought a PVC catsuit from them 10 years ago (a hell of a deal back when the US dollar was worth MORE than the Canadian dollar) and it was great quality.

I will personally vouch for Northbound. I've gotten some GREAT leather stuff from them. They do amazing work. May be a bit pricey but totally worth it.

Oh no they are not "leather". Kova & T brought the style back and is what you see the celebs and runway models wearing.

http://www.singer22.com/kotoxyle.html - click on the pictures to enlarge.

I bought mine from americanapparel ... they are cheaper that the Kova & T and practically the same.

    http://store.americanapparel.net/rsac306.html#i (low waist)

Not the best picture but this how they look on me.

Hot!^ I wish I could wear them. They look too small even on the model, generally not a good sign.

What style (skinny, boot cut..) are leather pants supposed to be in, or do yall prefer?

I used to have this catsuit from Northbound and loved it. I had it customized and holy crap was it awesome. It eventually wore out and now I think I'm getting a little long in the tooth for a replacement. Damn!
