Mine changed. As my body adjusted to the lack of the Pill, I got my natural "cycle" and drive back.

Pretty much, i got my old cycle of bleeding erratically(Though not very much anymore, yay!) and not having a clear cycle like most women have. And my sex drive went WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY up. Like, i had none before, couldnt care less if i was getting any, and went to being permahorny to a ridiculous degree.

I didn't know the IUD had hormones, I thought it was just some thingy stuck up in you to block sperm... Maybe they need to work on sex ed classes here in the Bible Belt, I don't know anything!

Me neither. Do you have a IUD?

Some how my period got really messed up a few weeks ago and I stopped taking the pill (because it'll go on for a full month if I keep taking it) and after a week or two and it actually has start to come back!!! I'm so excited to just think about sex for a second a day, I never wanna go back on the pill again.

I'm gonna call my insurance about getting Mirena soon and try it out. Hopefully it won't make me crash like the pill did....

^^Yes I do, maybe the whole not going through a menstruation is messing me up. I have not had one in 2 years.

The Mirena IUD has hormones, Paragard is the copper one and doesn't. I just got mine in about a month ago, and I haven't felt a change in my sex drive. I havent taken bc pills in about a year, and *that* kills my sex drive.

How can you stay on the pill and also have a sex drive? That's what I want to know.

^I'm on the pill and I have a sex drive. I was really worried that I wouldn't because I'm kind of trying out a new one that has the exact same amount of hormones every day, instead of normal tri-phasic pills, and I don't notice lack of interest in sex. I did have that problem with Depo, but not with my new monophasic pill.
