Title pretty much says it all.
I want to ease into this whole idea with a weekend at a starter club ( no dances , no total nudity )
Can you only find these club conditions other than UT?
There is club 91 in Pocatello that's an option ( bikini ).

CA has stage only bikini bars in the bay area

^ Just read your post about the brass rail ........ ;(
I'm going to have to do a search about these , but I may come back and bother you with specific questions.
I guess my #1 question is .... will men really pay to see women in bikini's ( like $300-$400+ nightly averages ... possibly more on weekends for a good hustler ) ?
I just looked up the brass rail. There is no contact ?
I love the south bay. I'm currently trying to get over major jealousy of a friend of friend who is living out there with a google nerd.

Not consistently, no. Dancing in a bikini on stage only isn't really stripping, it's go-go. And go-go dancers can't typically count on $300-$400 a night. Hustling makes no difference if you're doing stage only, because hustling is for selling lapdances.
I've done bikini only dancing WITH lapdances and I was really happy to go home with $200. It's definitely not a lucrative way to make a living.

Yeah. The money you mentioned is good money for a fully nude dancer with dances in my area.

Topless is fine. Definitely doesn't have to be bikini.

Gosh, the only places I can think of that would be decent money stage only are fully nude; Portland OR and Washington DC. I can't think of any good stage-only topless places.
I'm pretty sure the bikini bar you're talking about in ID would require selling lapdances to make money.
Making money stage-only is super-rare; I would not count on it. I would also not try to ease your guy into it only to have to change the game as soon as you figure out where the money is!

The Hip Hugger in the south bay area or AJ's (if it's still around). Both are bikini, go go like dancing. Topless, try the Candid Club, but I agree the money there is probably not worth traveling for.

hip hugger is a VERY VERY VERY small club....not sure how much money is to be made there, but you cant fit more than 20 customers in there at a time MAX!! maybe 5 or so girls per shift...AJ's has closed down. Candid club is bikini--not topless. nicer setup than the hugger. IMO the brass rail has better earning potential for stage only. the hugger and candid both offer bikini only no-contact private dances.
as far as earning potential...don't expect to bring home 300-400 per night without LDs or TDs. and to my knowledge, there aren't any topless stage only clubs in the bay area....

I guess it you are local , averages of around $200 a night really aren't too bad , but with travel costs , I don't think I could even work if I wasn't clearning $275++ averages.
^ Susan : Good point.
^ Vonnie : Thanks for South Bay details .

Ok ........... changing it up a bit .
What about if I work at a nudie ( no dances ) . Can $300-$400 averages be had at the kit kat club in sunnyvale ? Anyone familiar with this one ? Any awesome clubs ( again, no dances , stage only) that are a direct flight from me ?

I worked at the Kit Kat (1998-2003) and some of my girlfriends still work there, but take trips to Vegas to make ends meet. You do dances at the Kit Kat, albeit total air dances. You will not be able to make $300-$400 dollars off stage alone. Not to mention they might have scheduling issues. I did know a few dancers that were allowed to pop in every once in while, but they were veterans to the club.
The Kit Kat has a pretty good day shift due to it's location ( in the heart of Silicon Valley). I think it's better on weeknights than weekends because it caters more to business men that work in that area.
Have you ever worked and danced a shift anywhere besides auditioning? It might be hard to gage what you can average as a newbie. Attempting a dancer trip that would be profitable after travel expenses, might not be worth it as a newb. I suggest getting your feet wet locally and then bundling your dancer trips with your business trips to keep your overhead low.

I can't ^. My little brother ( and his friends ) are club going age.

^I was meaning local clubs out of state that are within driving distance.
It's a drive, but you could always work Northern X in Ogden. I doubt your brother is going to be driving that far. Additionally, you could do Northern X in North SL, if your brother doesn't live near that area. Most of the kids used to go to Southern X - was more popular w/ the younger crowd. When I worked in Salt Lake, I worked all three XPosure clubs. The downside of the one in North SL is that the license is ~300 dollars (unless it's changed since then - I've been working in Texas for many years now) and it takes ~3 weeks to get. Southern X and Northern X in Ogden only take a couple hours to get a license, and they both used to cost ~100. I'm not sure which municipality Trails is in, but if that's outside where your brother's range is, the girls there used to make pretty good money, and iirc, they worked shorter shifts.
Again, my information is outdated, but hopefully it'll help.
