Default 20 in. or longer clip-in extensions

I've seen various posts about where to get 18 inch clip in extensions, but does anyone know a reputable place to get 20 inches or longer? I mainly want them for volume, but since my hair is already about 20-21 inches, I doubt 18 inch ones would mesh well.

I'm looking for the ones that have like 3-6 clips all attached to the same weft of hair, too....not the skinny wefts.

Why not just make your own? I've been doing that since I was 16. It's way cheaper and you get custom extensions. I just go to the beauty supply store and buy the specific type of hair I want (I usually buy 2 packs) then I buy a bunch of wig clips (it's the little comb clip that snaps on, they're $.99/pack) and I cut the tracks into various lengths, (6" pieces, 4" pieces and so on) and I sew on the clips with a thread that matches the color of the hair. (I also make sure the clips are the same color as the hair too) and voila! Home made clips. And they're really easy to put in.

I too would love to know where to get 22inch + extensions.

I can not for the life of me find long high quality human hair extensions longer than 18 inches.

    I really want 22-24 inches.

What about Hair U Wear Jessica simpson extensions...they come in real and synthetic hair (note to self...never accidently catch the syn ones in the flat iron, what a stinky mess!) You can get them off ebay for less than at a retailer. That's one of the few reasons I've kept my cosmotology license current...to get things at cost!

let me add that they come in 22" straight or 23" wavy. I had both and at 5'2" my hair was down to my ass.

Hrm, to save money I very well just might make clip in extensions! Hopefully it's as easy as it looks on here http://youtube.com/watch?v=vr3ENNw1VB4

I really hated this product when I tried it. I had it for 4 days, took good care of it, and the hair was disgusting and matted beyond belief. Didn't wear it to bed or anything like that. By the 5th day I had to throw it out, it was like putting a dead animal on my head.

You could make your own for cheap. I had mine made for me because it was only $10 more than the cost of the hair so I said why not. I used silky straight Sepia hair. Just make sure the hair is already sewn into wefts so you can easily attach sew on clips.
I think per bulk pack my 22" was $59. I needed about 2 packs.

Oh wow. So how exactly do you attach the hair to the clips? I saw a tutorial on youtube saying to glue it, but she also said you could sew it....the actual tutorial showed her glueing, though. Sewing seems better for moving around alot...I saw some holes in the clips. Would I just wrap heavy thread around the weft and through the hole a couple of times for each hole?

Isnt Remy Hair like the standard for everything? what would you recommend?

I looooooove extensions even though i get alot of looks when i say i want them and play with them. My hair is pretty long, but i really just want them for fullness

is it easy to turn clip-ons into nail-tips or the tiny ones for microlinks or something? Usually all the good lengths that exotica is looking for come in clip-ons once you start hitting up Ebay.

Remy is usually expensive, and usually better quality because it hasn't been through as many chemical processes.

I make my own 3 , 3 clip tracks and then 4 one clip (for the sides) Total cost is around 60-80 depending on how much you want to pay for the hair. I've managed to get cheaper hair (30 bucks) and when it breaks down and starts to look like shit I just the remainder of the hair I had from the first set of tracks I sewed. It's super easy and sorta relaxing to do on your days off.

I've seen some really nice super high quality human hair, with an amazing silky soft feel going for 100.00 a pack. It was over 22 inches long.
At a local independent mom and pop beauty shop. You can find it, its out there
and the super soft stuff is pricey but worth every penny.
I have never sewed them on the clips but my friend did. Its fairly easy so she said, you just loop the thread through the little holes at the tops of the clips.
She made me a set but I am horrible at putting them in, like the placement of where they look the best and so on.

They are super easy to make yourself. search clip-in extensions on youtube and you will find loads of tuts.

If you don't want to pay out the arse for Remy hair (one of my favs), you can get great quality hair for cheap from the beauty supply stores in the hood. I would never buy the crap they sell at places like sally's.
