I still haven't gotten around to getting a GHD. I really wanted that pink one and now they have a hot pink one! But I keep hearing bad stuff...although I absolutely loved my CHI and I heard bad stuff about that all the time, too.
I'm sorry about you GHD, do they do free repairs? Call them and get that shit fixed on their dime!

Who did you purchase it from? If you still have the receipt or put it on your credit card I'd call them and see about exchanging it... if that doesn't work, try getting a hold of GHD. It may not be too late to register your iron. Most irons will gaurantee at least 1 year of use, 4 months is unacceptable and if they're a reputable company with a decent product, they should replace your iron.
We offer , Warcraft gold, We have an outstanding world of experience.Farming for (EVE ISK) isn't easy, on sale. We have revolutionized the exchange of money to world of warcraft gold with fast delivery.
I love my website!
If you bought it at sephora, take it in - they're usually very helpful with things like this. or if you bought it somewhere else, if you still have the box it came in, there should be a little pamphlet for registering it. they do have a warranty.
I bought mine online from folica and all of the paperwork/receipt came in the box.
I have a Paul Mitchell Iron and have had it for 2 years still works the same since I bought it. I love it. It was around $180 when I bought it.
They are all around pieces of overhyped crap. Honestly they only work well if you have thin, fine, or easy to straighten hair. I know someone is gonna say they have thick coarse hair and it works wonders, but lets be real, everyone thinks they have "thick" hair, hairdressers tell everyone this to flatter. You DON'T have thick hair if you can get your finger and thumb to touch around your ponytail. I can get my hair straighter with a blowdryer than with my ghd! They just don't get fucking hot enough! Now I'm hearing that they break easily too!. I really hate that company!!!!

^I was just looking on their site and they have a 'salon styler' that supposedly works better on ethnic, thick hair. I believe they used the term 'afrocarribbean' or something to that effect. I really do have coarse thick hair, I'm half asian (thank you thick) and my white side is curly afro! I noticed a huge huge difference between my Revlon (ie drugstore) straightener and my CHI, so I assumed GHD would be even bettter. I wish I could have a money back trial period or something lol. I always get caught up in hype.

I have THICK, THICK, long curly wavy afro hair (i'm afrocarribbean) and the GHD straightens my hair like NOTHING else (err well apart from the maxiglide) I love GHD love it and they are totally worth the money... not over-rated at all.
Victory definitely take it back. I have had my GHD for over 5 years and i recently bought a second one (hot pink w00t) and haven't had any problems.
Do you have the MK4 or MK3? I've been curious about the MK4, but my MK3 won't even get my hair sorta straight, so I'm leary of buying anything else from them. I'm mixed ethnicity, Irish (wiry, coarse, wavy thick crap), American Indian and a smidge African American, so my hair is a weird, weird, texture.
i am about to get shunned out of the thread, lol.
i got it from EBAY. but they said it was a certified ghd, and it came with papers and the certificate. so do you think i could still try and do something about it? ay yi yi i learned my lesson from ebay!
^^ it was probably most likely a fake.

^^^ didn't someone post about that not too long ago? She somehow discovered all the serial #'s were the same therefore they were counterfit GHD's.
The last review on Folica.com about the M4 said it only lasted 6 weeks.
^Yes, also though there are links on the side on ebay where they talk about fakes alot of things on ebay are fakes . They will make fake tags fake evreything. Which is why I try to be extra careful when I want to shop on ebay. They alo sell some things over priced where you can get it for cheaper at a store (if it is around you).
ah man i learned my lesson, will order from sephora next time thank you for everyone's help!
mane i miss my ghd!! ;( that shit got ready in 2.5 seconds and pressed my hair pin straight, this hot tool SUCKS my hair is not straight its wavy.![]()
