Champagne is about 78 cal per 4 ounce glass. Not bad, but remember...alcohol with it's sugars and all, is never a good choice for a dieter. Don't add anything to it (chambord, OJ, etc.) remember to drink water..and of course, moderation.

There can't really be a low cal. champagne or sparkling wine ( for you oenophiles out there ..... tell me what the difference is and get a prize ) . It's the sugars in the grapes that make the drink. There are definitely worse things you could drink ( fruity frozen drinks pack 300+ calories sometimes )! If you are worried about it , drink a diet coke and capt. morgain or a diet and coconut rum ... that's what I do.
People also tend to get overly drunk on wine and champagne because they underestimate serving sizes.

Champagne is strictly from the Champagne region of France. Sparkling wine may look and taste similar to Champagne, but is made either domestically (such as Korbel or Sophia) or any place on earth other than the Champagne region of france.
What's my prize lol?
Also, champagne and wine are probably some of the best weight watching drinks you can have.... simply because you aren't adding any calorie raising mix such as Oarnge Juice, sodas, etc to the stuff.
