    Default Best Shoe Brand?

I know Diablo said in her book that Ellie's are best. Right now I'm dancing in a borrowed pair of unknown brand.

I'm looking for a 6" clear mule that won't wreck my toesies! Any suggestions?

I never got hammers with Ellies! I'd recommend trying them!

I like Pleasers just as much as Ellies. I think they're a little wider.

Ellies seems to be wider. If you have skinny feet I don't recommend them. I ended up giving them away to another dancer. I love Pleasures brand. Still have shoes that have lasted over a year.

I always wear 6 inch clears..the brand may differ due to what the store carries. I find no matter what brand, all you need is a hair dryer. Heat the plastic up, slip em on and have them mold to your feet.

I like Tony's Shoes. For me and my skinny feet, they are the best.

Pleaser's are better suited for people with wider feet. On me, Pleaser's are just loose.

Went to the store and tried on Ellies, Pleasers, and a brand called "Highest Heel Collection" and the latter fit me best. They're built JUST like the Ellie's, so maybe they're a knockoff? They literally had the same styles in each brand but HHC was $20 cheaper.

I prefer Pleaser's over Ellies. They seem to last longer for me.

I will only wear Pleaser's. I could never stay in Ellie's in a month before I broke them, not sure why, but I love all the Pleaser's I've had except one unfortunate pair.

I have a pair of highest heel and I love them. They can be a bit hard to get my feet into when they're warm but they've lasted ages and fit perfectly when I get my feet into them, if that makes sense.

Ellie's are the most comfortable brand in my opinion, but they never seem to last longer than a month before the sole peels off.

Any reason you don't like straps? Do you feel like your foot doesn't rest in them properly? I'm thinking the straps prevent you from carrying all your weight on the balls of your feet, which would help if you're concerned about hammer toes.

Pleasers, if only for the wider selection.

Pleasers, because I have wide feet due to my toes not really tapering on the side. Also, they are easy to find, have a huge selection, and can really take a beating imo.

I'm watching the big toe joint (bunion?) get more swollen. I used to be able to crack and adjust that toe, but no more. I guess the small bones really do shift through abuse? The next two toes are going hammer. Left foot is fine though.

    There's gotta be a way.
I have realllllllly tiny legs, and I've never found a pair of ankle strap shoes where the strap fit me in the right place and closed far enough. Normally I have to punch holes and cut the excess to tighten them. They also hit my ankle bone at a weird place and blister the hell out of me.

I've broken my pleasers and my tony's. *sigh* the search continues... I guess Ellies are next, but I think I'm just gonna have to make frequent trips to the shoe repair shop.
