I got a letter today saying out lease is up June 30th. Rent has increased to what I concider to overpriced for this apartment. I want to move out.
However....I'm reluctant to sign a new lease out here, with my plans to leave soon anyway. But June 30th is to soon for me to leave, I have to stay in school until Aug. 2nd at lease so I can get this certification and get a job.
However, it's a perfect time for my boyfriend to get his ducks in a line, decide what he's gunna do, and rent himself a place he can afford withotu me. I can stay there until August or just stay somewher eelse around here till school's out. I feel like I have the opportunity, I should take it.
I have no idea where the fuck to go and it overwhelms me so much to the point that I just want to stay here forever because I dont know where to go. I know what kind of place i want to live in, but I dont know how to find it, and I cant exactly afford to go visiting citites until I find onem i like. I need to make my choice and go and stay there.
If you live in the place I describe, or know of a place like it, can you tell me the city and state please? Random good searhces of states just isn't working for me. There's a lot of places to live in the US.
So here's where I want to live:
Near the water. Ocean preferably, but will settle inland next to a large lake.
Old town, with Victorian homes, where some of them are broken into apartments you can rent a floor of.
Small, quiet town. Lzzy and laid back.
Near a community college (must be)
near a hospital (must be)
No snow. The hotter the better, but at least a mild climate with little seasonal change.
Cost of living isn't to steep. I can only afford rent less than $700-800 a month at the very most. I won't be dancing. I dont care if I can only rent a studio or efficiency.
Near a forest or woods would be nice, but I wont be to picky. I just need some outdoors. no big concrete cities. I've had enough concrete and fast living and big cities. It isn't for me.
Does this place exist? Where is it? Help me figure out where to live!

). It's got a quaint downtown with Victorian architecture, similar to Carmel with a SLO town vibe.
