What are some of the GOOD things you've seen management do?
What made me think of this is that my club recently announced a new policy regarding "fake drinks". They'd been having a number of dancers getting drunk at work. In addition to the REALLY drunk ones (That got fined & sent home), there were also just a lot of girls getting tipsy in general. A normal mixed drink in my club is usually about $5-$6, so they came out with a list of "fake" drinks (like the "Sweet Temptation", which is sprite and grenadine) that we could order. Now, for every fake drink we order, we get paid $3. It's not a lot, but girls have now started making $15 or so every night off of fake drinks. I've got to say that I think it's positively genius for the club. A lot of the drinking has decreased, and now instead of hearing the girls in the DR saying, "I'm SOOOO drunk," I hear them saying, "That cranberry juice from the Royal Slut is really running through me tonight, but I've sold 6 of them!" The club has basically given us a choice between alcohol and money, and a LOT of girls (that used to be heavy drinkers) are choosing the money! I just think it was a great way to handle the drinking problem nicely, and it does seem to be working.
