normally i would just add it to the relevant post, but the thread in question was closed. i am sorry about one of the posts i made there. it wasn't relevant to that situation, and didn't belong there.
i hope that LJ doesn't continue beating herself up over being kind and gracious as a host and organiser. she did nothing wrong. it's wonderful there are people out there like her.
the whole situation was unique in that this is the first time SWers arranged a meetup and someone attending purposely wanted to make others unhappy-- this is a new and distressing change.
i apologise again for derailing that larger, extremely discomforting issue. i mean, it makes even casual meets of 2-3 people questionable if trust is going to be exploited like that.
sigh.
