Default How do I find the right dentist/periodontist?

So, I had a problem with grinding my teeth and clenching my jaw, and it's becoming apparent that I need to address this and take care of it. My jaw and teeth hurt basically all the time, and I can't open my jaw super-wide.

I am a little intimidated about finding the right dentist, and was wonder if anyone has advice on how to go about finding the right one. Do you refer to the American Dental Association, or what? I don't want to go to a hack!

If anyone in the Portland area has any specific recommendations, that would be great too.

do you know anyone who has been to a dentist lately? you could ask them.

    or go here:

itll take you to "find a dentist".

    good luck!
