Mmmmmmmmm Mouth breather. *runs away*
When did you have the surgery? Could be side effects from the anesthesia.
Not if you're more than a couple days out though.
Weds morning. They loaded me up with morphine, but I should be over that by now. I'm taking oxycodone....side effects include nausea and hiccups.
The doc also said that the blood that will drain into my stomach will cause some nausea as well.
I was thinking about this...I have a hard time breathing through my nose...sucks butt!

Did u have septoplasty? I had this done in Nov last year at the same time I had my rhinoplasty done. The recovery is not fun!!
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I had one at the same time as my rhino also. The splint in my nose was the worst part.
Yes, septoplasty, but no, couldn't get my insurance plan to cover rhino, and I don't think my nose needs it and neither did the doc...the second day has just begun, but I feel a hell of a lot better than I did yesterday.
And yes, the splint inside my nose...actually not too bad...I don't have any packing in there, so that's good, although I'm bleeding from my right nostril like a stuck pig.

when i was on oxycodone for my boobs i would get the hiccups alot. the doc said to put a tsp of sugar in your mouth and let it dissolve.IT WORKED very very well!
not sure if it would be a bad idea with the blood in ur tummy from the nose job.id call the doc and ask.
I hope you feel better soon! Recovery from surgery is no fun![]()

Agliano.
I think I tried too hard too soon...I went for a light jog the second day after the surgery and then the next morning went to a half-day barbecue in the heat...too much too soon. Now I'm resting up. Still oozing out the right nostril though...kind of a snotty/oozy combo (not to sound gross).
Head Turner, when you had yours done, how long before you weren't stuffed up and feeling blegh? I feel ok today (had it done Weds of last week) but I have splints in my nose and the stuffiness is making me feel like just lying around.

Stay out of the heat it will increase the swelling!!
I felt tired and stuffy for a few weeks. Just do what your body is telling u to do - rest.

I may have to have this done. When I look up my nose, it looks like its blocked. I know I probably have polyps in there. It looks like a peeled grape and I have trouble breathing too.
I hate anything in my nose, so I am scared to even go get it checked out.

Thanks Brendita. I figured they might be polyps since some members of my family have them. I also had looked online and it said that polyps look like peeled grapes.I hope you are right, cause I dont want to have to operate on my nose (unless its for a rhinoplasty!)
