    Default Urinary Tract Infection...HELP!!

Dammit all to hell. I either have a UTI or a bladder infection.... Symptoms are

    *warning gross*

It feels like I have to pee a lot, and when I do pee my bladder or some part of my anatomy sort of spasms?

I have had these before and usually been able to clear it up with over the counter stuff, like Cystex. I've had this since Sunday tho and it's not getting any worse, but it's not getting any better either.

Does anybody know any natural cures to fix this condition? I don't have insurance and really can't afford to go to the doctor. I'm not in any pain or anything, I just dont want it to get worse....

    Thanks in advance!

Go get the cranberry pills from the vitamin section of the drug store. Take 4 to start, then 2 pills 3x per day. Drink a TON of water or cranberry juice (make sure it is 100% cranberry juice unsweetened. I mix it 1/2 juice, 1/2 water. It will flush your system out. I just did this a few weeks ago and it worked!

Also, I have used this twice before:

    http://www.nativeremedies.com/produc...er-health.html

You put about 15 drops in a glass of water and take a few times per day. It doesn't taste that great, but it is natural, and it works!!!

I guess try what the people here suggest but if it doesn't completely clear up soon you need to go to the doctor.

I ended up in the hospital for a week almost needing a blood transfusion because I did that. Every symptom went away except the feeling like I need to pee, but some times only a little comes out.

I didn't think it was a huge deal but it really was. They said I was REALLY REALLY sick, that if I had waited another day or two to go to the hospital...well...I might not be here.

Anyways, I'm not trying to be dramatic I'm just saying it's probably easier and safer to just go get the meds. I take UTI's really seriously after all that.

I've become really sick from not treating it with an antibiotic. Please go to a Doctor, you can damage your kidneys and make yourself more prone to getting them if they go untreated. The cranberry pills and tea or good for prevention but not good for treatment.

UTI's suck so hard. Hope you feel better.

You guys scared the shit out out of me, I called my doctor and he prescribed an antibiotic I will pick up later. Thanks for the advice, I won't let this go so long again without getting treatment!

I would think you'd have more pain and bleeding but yeah check it out it can turn into a kidney infection which is really awful to deal with (ha as if a UTI isn't bad enough...)
    Order Avon through my website!

Its good that you got antibiotics!!!

For future UTIs, because odds are you'll get another one sooner or later...

If you catch it fast you can usually avoid having to go to the doctor. Take the cranberry pills, drink loooooooooootts of cranberry juice, and also drink plenty of water. Don't go overboard, people have died from drinking too much water...but I think you have to drink like five gallons of water in one sitting to do that.

The other thing you can do is the detox things they sell at smoke shops...they make you PEE!!!!!

If it doesn't clear up though, definitely get antibiotics. I always give it a couple days of home remedies before I go to the doctor. In the mean time, take the AZO pills (they relieve the symptoms temporarily) so that you can keep working.

Cystex has NEVER cleared up a UTI for me. It just relieves some of the pain until I can get my Dr's appointment. Please go get checked out soon. Get an Rx for a strong antibiotic and take it religiously. UTI's can evolve into Kidney infections. Not fun!

I think it was Sunchild who also ended up in the hospital with a kidney infection (this was awhile ago) because she didn't take care of the UTI. Good thing that you got the antibiotics. Hope you feel better.

Grapefruit Seed Extract (liquid form). Add it to your water (yucky but works) and you can try douching with it too (once or twice -- don't go crazy). It kills that bad stuff while keeping the good bacteria.

If you cant find the cranberry juice or anything else drink lots and lots of water to help flush it out. Remember to take some salt if you do.
