Default How do you figure out your new clubs hustle?

So I recently switched clubs. The last club I was at, it was sit and talk..(3 songs) ask for a dance...do said dance...then ask to go to the champagne room. If they said no then you say "Okay lets just have our fun down here" and do maybe a few more dances. Unless it was a weekend, then you just did a "Wanna dance" thing.

The new club I'm at, I'm fucking stumped! I'm super pushy on dances "Lets go do a dance.." followed by "come on whats one dance?" followed by "If you do a dance I pinkie swear to quit pestering you" and they cave in (knock on wood). Once I get them back there it's like marathon dancing. I don't bother selling VIPS because I for some weird ass reason (yes I find it weird) I tend to do no less than 6 and no more than 13! But I do at least that many. Fucking weird. Not that I'm complaining. But 13?! wow. And it seems to be the norm there btw.

I just have NO clue how to talk to these people aside from this. here's what I've noticed.

customers come in, sit on the main floor..they get chatted up by girls ..they drink then they go off to dance. NOW when I try to join a group because how else will I figure the hustle out..I'm given the evil eye. So I'm not sure if it's considered uncoothe to go into a group if you aren't invited. I have no idea. I end up asking right away for the dance after a bit of small talk and then if nothing I exit quietly.

By myself I'm fucked. I talk..they listen..I ask what they do..where they are from and I swear to god you'd think I was speaking another language. I'm pleasant and know how to talk to customers. I've never had this issue. I have NO fucking idea what's going on here. I'm working in the burbs now as opposed to my old club which was in the city. I didn't think it would make that big of a difference on how customers were...but it does. I've worked burbs all my dancing career minus in NY and this is the strangest thus far.

It's like stepping into the twlight zone.

How do you figure out a hustle at a new club? Beyond asking the girls, and just observing. I've done this..nothing.

I'm making money and I'm fine with the amount. It just feel awkward when I'm conversing with these people. Help help!

I've found that going into a new club as a custie and just watching stage and observing the customers can really really help.

I've been observing though for over 2 weeks. I just don't get it. I don't know if I'm talking too much about shit they could careless about or what.

It just takes time. You'll figure out who the club regulars are, and which dancers they belong to. That might have been why the evil eye. That, and you're the new girl. They're trying to figure you out as much as you're trying to figure them out!

Besides the awkward vibe you're getting in conversation with the customers, it seems like you're still able to get them to the private dance area and sell multiple dances. Good for you! The awkward vibe might just be the new-girl vibe they're sensing. I think once you're settled in and approach the guys like you own the damn place, it won't matter what you say, or how you make conversation because it will be the momentum you create with your confidence.

Bottom line... give it time. It's a confidence thing. Know that you know what you're doing because you're making money. You rock. You are wanted. You know how to close a sale. You did it at your last club, you can do it there.

Hey hon, I wish I had a chance to talk to you before you left tonight. I have some answers for you, and some tips for working this club.
It's funny, cuz when I worked at your old club, I wandered around lost like WTF? The hustle was so different there....so with the situation reversed, I know exactly what you mean!
And also, congrats on getting multiple dances! That actually isn't the norm here, there are only a handfull of girls who have mastered that art

^ I'll forgive you for dancing to the awesome songs if you sit down and give me the play by play lol.
I tried the talk hustle last night and it went "okay" but I didn't pull an amount past 5 on the dances. Totally bummed me out. I thought I was on a roll!!! But by the looks of the entire lap dance area I was in the majority by 2 am when I left.
I made the lowest ever since I started there last night and I think it's because I spoke to guys on the floor. I'm working all weekend Kylie so now that we know who each other is....find me!!

Yes, I know, my music rocks
Don't worry to much about last night, it was pretty slow (esp. for a Thursday). On nights like that, you have to pick your hustle style. Sitting and chatting might get you a room, but if it doesn't, the floor might be empty and your chances of getting tons of dances has passed. It can be very frusterating! I have anxiety some nights, trying to figure out who to talk to, how long to stay, if I'm working the "right" way.
Also, I'm sure you know, Friday + Saturday are good days to "wanna dance" guys, esp. the young ones, or bachelor parties. But keep an eye out for business travelers who just wrapped up a workweek...there are often a lot of champange rooms with these types on Friday.
Not working tonight, but I will be in late on Sat.
Oh, and don't forget, my name there isn't Kylie. However, if you do meet a girl named Kylie there, she is super nice!

    ^ I know your name
I'm not working tonight, I'll be in tomorrow so I'll see you there. Do you think it's possible to clear 800-1000 this weekend? I'm going to stay till 2:30 tomorrow. I have a flight on Sunday.

Maybe they don't wanna talk, oddly enough. When I 1st started dancing, guys wanted to talk before and after the dance. But then I went to this other club where girls promptly left the guys after they gave the dancers money. This didn't affect the money either. The guys were "trained" to not expect the dancers to sit around and talk most of the time. Sometimes the dancers came back to the guys...but that was to just get more dances.

Do you really care about talking? I personally hate talking. I could give dances all night and not get burnt out, but talking to people is what burns me out. If you're getting so many dances, I wouldn't worry about it, unless you're trying to build up regulars. Then again, if they're getting THAT many dances, I'm guessing they like your lapdances enough to want to come back to get more just cuz you're that good.

This is why I don't agree with the 'make money, not friends' logic.
