I'm in WI and we're supposed to get a big thunderstorm tonight. Does that hinder you guys from going out?

Good idea for a thread. I have wondered this too. It's winter here now and it's just getting slower and slower![]()
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I can understand snow slowing biz down but I've noticed rain does too. Why is that??

I dunno. Some nights customers come in drenched so they have obviously braved the weather. But really cold nights (no rain just freezing) we are dead!!

Yes, but in the opposite way of what you're conjecturing. Cold or rainy weather.....sounds like a good time to be inside at the club.
But really really nice weather will keep me away....doing things outside....who wants to be inside a club then?

I would think that, outside of dangerous driving conditions, really nice weather, particularly on Spring afternoons, would be a crowd-drainer.

Weather one way or another really doesn't change my strip club habit, but I am a strip club junkie.
I'm way more likely to go straight home if it is raining hard or storming and I'm less likely to go out. I assume most guys are too.
I have taught that the sky in all its zones is mortal and its substance was formed by a process of birth

I'm always surprised at how dead it is when it's raining, and it actually seems to be busier when nice??? wtf I guess maybe nice weather puts people in a spending mood but I'd rather spend it on something other than a dark club.

Summer bad weather, usually not. That stuff usually passes through fairly quickly, albeit with the high gas prices this is increasing. When the club is an hour away and its an hour to get there, you have a reduced window of opportunity.
When you have the kind of persistently violent weather we had here over Memorial Day weekend, I just won't go out for sake of mood. Its a bit hard to have fun when you're in a safety mindset. I'd rather be home watching the weather radar during those times.
Winter bad weather, most definitely. For same stated reasons.![]()
Former SCJ now in rehab.
Snow, no problem. Heavy rain? I do sometimes ask myself "Do I want to get drenched running up to the door?" I have to be pretty motivated.

Rain does not stop me from lookin at tits!
In CO the weather changes on a dime, though, so I know it will stop soon.

The above is at variance with my attitude- weather doesn't matter 1 way or another with me, save for big snowstorm or hurricane. i05- what shift do you work?? Crummy weather would make it more likely for me to visit club during day, good weather less so (fishing, beach-going, golfing, etc). Club location/parking facilities could be a factor. If i05's club is downtown area with paucity of parking lots whereby customers walk, be it from curb parking blocks away or downtown hotel, then bad weather a negative. But if club is suburban area with good sized parking lot, and/or valet parking, then summer thunderstorm shouldn't matter.

OMG. As another WI girl, this year the weather fucked up my money so hard core! The weather wasn't even that bad, but we did have that record snow, and it was all on the news like, "THE STORM OF THE CENTURY!! DON'T DRIVE UNLESS YOU HAVE TOO!!!" (yes the news really says that here) and people freak out and stay in. I'd be sitting at work (dead of course) staring out the window, and it'd be like flurrying outside. I don't know who these lame asses in WI are, but hello! we live here! Big fucking deal it's snowing... that's like a daily damn thing in winter! But, sadly, I am not in the majority.....People really do stear clear of driving in the bad weather... mleh.
AZ has stupid no smoking laws, so you have to smoke outside. The smoking section of the club I go to doesnt actually have a roof "metal screen" on it. So when it's raining you get soaked, and it floods in there. Not worth going out on a rainy nite.

yep rain/snow dont go....dont like highway driving in it....ill just go another night....the club will still be there.

Like someone else said, it has to be extreme to keep me from going. Snow is a big deal in NC because very few are good at driving in it because it happens so rarely.

Actually it rains quite alot in the summer time. Tucson is in a valley and at elevation. When fronts come in from the pacific over the california mountains, we get funky torrential rains. We call it monsoon season. Tucson gets more rain than all the surrounding major cities: LA, Denver, Albuquerque, Dallas, Las Vegas. As far as smoking, alot of girls use it to make a sale. They approach u for a light or to bum a smoke, a little chit chat then they ask if I'd like a dance. Then I'm more than happy to oblidge them.![]()
