I want to take a few pics for a guy friend of mine. But I don't want them to resemble the cover of a porno. Any ideas?

Try to make them more artistic like modelling
Thanks

Another approach is to try and make them look like you where walked in on or caught in a natural act Like you are putting your stockings on and did not lock the door. Things that do not look posed

Black and white makes pics look really classy and arty.

I agree with FJRider! My friend took some pics of me for my boyfriend a while ago and the ones that turned out best were the ones I wasn't prepared for that she just took spontaneously while I was moving into another position or something. So if you can get someone to help you take them, just tell them to click away. Some might turn out absolutely horrendous but you might capture some really pretty unexpected ones.
Wow, I will definitely do that!

Don't give the photographer a blowjob during the shoot and you're doing better than 90% of the porn covers.
Anyway. Never look straight into the camera. It looks forced. And don't look away too far. Whites of the eyes aren't sexy. Look just past the camera.

1) Simplify your background. Classy photos often have just white/black in the background. At the most, have a prop like a bed. Or, depending on the camera's lens (or with Photoshop), you can blur the distracting background out.
2) Black and white is good. If you aren't shooting in B&W, then you just have to structure your posing to skillfully reveal curves and crevices rather than baring them to the camera's eye.
3) Oftentimes classier pictures don't have the model looking directly at the camera. Direct eye contact conveys overt sexuality. If you are looking at the camera, then go for the doe-eyed glance instead of the VIP dance stare-down.
4) Lean towards a more natural look when using make-up.
Etc...
Thank you Charlie

Some of the best pics that I have gotten where when I set a Video camera on a TriPod in my main center position and a 20" tv right up behind me. I then let the model get comfortable playing with her posses and the TV and just moved around and shoot the pics. It came out just great all most every pic was a keeper. I also agree with the using a black or white back ground and it does not have to be expensive. I used a couple of wall mart black velour king size blankets. For white a couple of cheap painters drops are great. Most important is make sure that you have fun. A good photographer well take some pics till they get a few good ones and then stop a sec to show them to you so that you can feel good about what you are doing. Before Digi I had a Polaroid Back for my portrait camera and I did not take any on film till there where some pics that the model liked then I started using film. If you start seeing pics that make you feel good then it you well start having more fun and the pics well just get even better. In the end make sure that you have some one that you enjoy and have fun with take the pics and and then go have fun with them. Use a flat soft light not a flash on the camera if you can.

Wow, all of these are such great ideas. I have taken a few so far on my camera phone and they came out great. Does anyone have ideas for camera phones?

These pics aren't going to get any bigger than 3 x 5's Thanks
