the forums at www.hotcouponworld.com are absolutely kickass. I use them constantly.

print coupons, send in for free stuff, all great money savers. and since it's a forum, all of the coupons, deals & stuff are found by actual people - not just a company trying to spam you to death with "freebies".

My air conditioner has been broken all month and I just got my electric bill today. It was around $150 less than it would normally be. Even though I am getting it fixed, I will definitely use it a whole lot less. I actually like sleeping with the windows open and the fan blowing at night. So unless it's stifling hot at night, that's my plan for the summer.

Here is one that a lot of people over look.

~When you take shower, do not keep the water on the entire time. Only turn it on once to get yourself wet. Then only turn it on while rinsing. Also wash your hair only 2 or 3 times a week. Rinse off only very shortly each day. Dont leave the water running while shaving. Instead of keeping the AC on use ice-packs. freezers are always running regardless what time of year it is. This will not increase your bill energy bill.

~Have your own garden where you grown some veggies and fruit. Or is you have a neighbor maybe buy their extras for really cheap.

~Bring your own food when ever you go somewhere. your wont have an excuse to eat fast food.

~Ride a bike when you dont need to go far distances. Carpool when you can.

    ~roommates!

~eat more raw fruits and veggies and precooked meat so you cook less. saves more energy.

~mix foundation with lotion. Thats what i do. Different lotions can have cool effects. It also keeps your skin hydrated.

~mix juice with water. Most juice is really sweet anyway. This way you make it last longer.

~stop drinking crap such as soda. stop eating candy. The costs add up.

~recycle! many people just throw away old water and soda bottle when they can take them back and get money!

~if its too hot at home leave and go to a public place with free air conditioning
