    Default veet?

just wondering if it's any good. nothing is as good as waxing, this is a given, but i absolutely HATE shaving and have very sensitive skin... just wondering if any of you have tried it, if it's all that it claims to be, and most imporantly...

does it stink up the bathroom for hours like nair?!

    haha thanks girls

Yes. It fucking stinks, and it BURNS even if you don't leave it on for the 'recommended' time, and I do not have sensitive skin.

I used it once a few years ago, I don't have sensitive skin and it burned so bad I was crying. Even after I was done, it looked like I had 3rd day stubble and horrible, bright red bumpy razorburn. Don't do it!

Well, If I need to get ready for some event that's like the next day, I use the veet. I usually have to trim my kitty's hair pretty short for this. I always use the one for delicate skin and place vaseline over all the areas that usually burn (inner labia etc). after the time allowed (although I leave it on the a min or so longer) I hop in the shower and rinse the stuff off before going into my normal routine.

I have been using NAIR for sensitive skin/bikini zone. It doesn't hurt but it does stink. It comes in a small tube. Works too. at least it does for me.

I've used Veet a few times now. I leave it on for about 7 mins. and then scrape it off. Once that is done I take a wet cold wash cloth and run it over my leg. Rinse out and repeat at least 4 times to get rid of the chemicals and the tingling sensation. My legs were smooth and hair free.

What kind of veet? I thought it was wax. I used Veet the other week and it smelled awesome. I had to heat it up with hot water and roll it on and pull off with strips..that is wax, what are yall talking about?? Anyways the Veet wax was too gentle and barely pulled out any hairs. But it was really easy to clean off afterwards if i was messy.

I thought it worked great, but it was too messy. It didn't burn me at all, and my skin was as smooth as if I'd shaved.

I thought it worked slightly better than Nair, but not enough to warrant the price. My skin was a little bit softer afterwards (as opposed to Nair), but i still had to lotion up afterwards.

Maybe it's because I only use it on my arms, but I don't have a problem with Nair burning my skin. I only leave it on for three minutes, but everyone is probably different.

be carefull with these products basically what they are doing is dissolving the hair so at the same time it is dissolving your skin, its ok everynow and then but when used regulary over longer periods of time it can cause your skin to thin and become hyper sensitised i,ve seen it happen numerous times and its not nice

When I want to be lazy I use Veet and it work really good for me AND leaves my skin on my legs, thighs, and butt silky smooth. I make sure to wash it off with cold water.

I don't have sensitive skin though so I may be a bad example.

I have never had much luck with hair removing creams. They never remove any of my hair and sometimes burn. I once tried a nair bikini cream and a couple of minutes after puttin it on it started burning and my skin was actually bleeding!!
I doused the area in cold water and the blood was pouring out, very very scary and weird.
After that i just wax and epilate.
