Default Wanting to dance in LA and San Diego for a couple of days

Reading some other threads, club 7557 looked promising. Is it true they let you just walk in? I'm only here for one night.

If anyone knows of a decent club in San Diego, let me know. I don't mind dives as long as the men aren't grabby and I can't afford high fees. I'm good at selling dances but guaranteed stage money is better.

Do I need a license in CA? I also need a dirt cheap XS outfit, if anyone is in the area and wants to hook me up.

To dance in SD, you need a few hundred dollars. Live Scan is about 50, lbusiness tax is 76, license is 141 for a new applicant.

^^ Damn. Wouldn't be worth it for me, probably. Is anything needed in LA/that place where 7557 is?

I don't know of clubs in LA/OC that need one.
You could try Les Girls or Body Shop in SD, TheSexKitten said you don't need a license there. Never been inside, i think they are kind of dives, but it might not matter if you are only there for a few days.

You don't need a license to work in Les Girls. I've never worked there, so I can't say what it's like from personal experience, but it doesn't have a reputation for being that great of a club.

The clubs I like working at are Pure Platinum and Cheetahs, although Cheetahs is having a bit of a slump at this moment. These clubs and others require an Entertainer's license in order to work in them.

SD in general seems to be in a bit of a slump. I am also thinking about hitting LA and clubs north of SD when I get more cash together.

If you hit LA, let me know how it goes. I could use the input when I venture up in that direction.

    Good luck to ya.

The Body Shop is where strippers go to die. Like a junkyard for all those ones that are run down, past their prime and just should probably stop dancing. You don't need a license to work there or Les Girls...although the earnings potential is low as well.

Just want to add you also need a business tax certification now which is an extra $75 along with everything else Samba listed.

For the business tax, go here:
1200 3rd Ave (first floor, across from the reception desk)
    SD, CA 92101
    619 615-1500

You need that and the live scan before you go to the police department. Cash or check.

No license needed in L.A. County.

I worked at Club 7557 one night and hated it. The customers were trash and gangbangers, NOT spending money, and they were incredibly direspectful (even by L.A. standards, which is saying something). There's another SWer though that's been dancing there for awhile and she likes it, so YMMV. If I remember right, it's a bikini club... maybe topless onstage with the six-foot rule but definitely bikini lapdances.

Money in L.A. is in the nude clubs, although groping and very high mileage is there too. It depends on what you're comfortable with.

even all the awesome bars around it (miyagi's, etc) that used to be BUMping have been slow. if you're coming to LA for a vacation then honestly- go for the vacation & enjoy the place.

Yeah, because working in the clubs might just ruin the vacation!

I'm that dancer that works @ 7557. It is not bad, really. If your one night lands on a Laker Game, then it's a good time to work. Just hit it a few hours before or right after the game ends. Just make sure it's not during the game.

Yes, you can show up when you want. Spanish skills are a plus. It's bikini, no topless.

No, she said before or after, not during -- I bet it does suck during, especially these next couple of games. But home games during the finals? I have to think that's going to be good before or after.

Oh! I guess I wasn't clear. I go in before the game to get them before it starts and/or right before the game ends, to get them after it ends.

Last night was worth it. I ended up spending two hours with a guy who was quite generous.

I couldn't pull them during. Uh-uh. Are you kidding? As rabid and loyal as Laker's fans are,LOL!!
