    Default Shoes.

So I have terrible luck with finding good shoes for work. I have wide feet and nothing ever seems to fit right. I've worn some Demonia boots with decent luck [I like the buckles and stuff and the cust seem to like throwing bills in the laces, so...].

But, I'd love to be able to wear more 'traditional' shoes.

What do you wear and where do you get them?

I have a selection of Pleaser, Demonia and TUK shoes. My feet are a bit wide too.

I compared two pairs by Anthony's. One was an oval shape around the toes, and the other was literally a wide rectangle box around the toes, which was such a relief. The incline was still too steep for me (hello, tendonitis!), so I'm looking around as well. I have a joint/connective tissue disease as well as bone disease: this isn't something to fuck around with as the problems can only multiply.

The trick with stretching out the plastic straps with a blowdryer seems inadequate to me; that's not stretching over time, and it makes a difference. Instead it's molding to your foot that once. I've notice how when I wore my non-platform stilettos with just over four-inch heels, I could literally see that blood was restricted from my joints.

Also most plastic straps are still not the naturalness of leather that stretches along with you as you shift your weight and swell differently through the night/month. For my last two shifts, I wore three-inch mules with a leather "x" cross-strap across the toes so that no part of the straps were right on the "toe knuckles." Relief, relief! I want those, but with a platform.

A former dancer suggested working with Electrique Boutique (woot, W!): http://www.electriqueboutique.com/wo...p/shoes/1.html. From there, I'll go to a cobbler if necessary, which admittedly could be a little spendy, but if I have more time to go in dancing, then I want ultimately to *save* money on injections into my feet.

I have wide feet and I only wear Tony's (NOT anthonys! They make my achille's tendons hurt).
