I posted on another name recently, and whined a little about not getting hired. Well... I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT....
I am an exotic dancer!
I love it. Wonderful people, really friendly vibe, and grinding on a fifty year old with no teeth isn't all of that bad. They have a lot of girls that have never danced before, so its more relaxed. Not every girl is super friendly, but none of them have been rude. As for managers... they're mostly women, and I was seriously impressed. They aren't arrogant.. they're informative. They supported me flopping around on stage, and have yet to say anything about me dancing to 80s music. I love it.
As for customers....
I've only danced for people that have asked me to dance. I've gotten one VIP, like... one "private room"... and a few floor dances. I spend my time talking to customers about the weirdest things. One of the first men I approached... wound up talking about how his parent's passed ten years ago. I ask too many questions. I've had a few men actually bring up during conversation "So, how do dances work?" and I still dont have the balls to ask them if they want one. Instead, I ask them if they want a dance from any of the other girls ill let them know. Oh... man.... Have any of you ever been genuinely interested in some of the wisdom these sleazy perverts have to share? Oh... and im so comfy around the unattractive, old and smelly.... yet will only give a brief smile to the cute ones. BLAH. I'm having fun, and ive decided to write out some goals for myself (like, sell 20 dances today!) or something.
Questions for you:
I heard the other girl's complaining about a girl's rock music. If her music was bad, mine was the gateway to hell.... should I be concerned? I want to stay on good terms with the others, and they complain that it is hard to give a private dance to a song that they dont feel sexy to. I'm sure when Jethro Tull come on, they want to kill me.... Should I try to toss in a rap song every set? or.. should I start dancing to what they dance to? I like their music... just, can't sing to it yet.
Are my managers concerned that I spend so much time talking to one customer, while not even trying to hustle them? I try to encourage them to go tip the girl on stage and stuff... and usually they'll come up when im on and toss me a few pity bucks... but ill spend a few hours and not do one dance. It's a small club, and on a positive note the men seem to enjoy idle chit-chat. There are a lot of regulars... or men that frequent it regularly. Other girls approach them when i leave to go on stage, or go to the bathroom and such....
Have you found that many men appreciate sarcasm? I was surprised to see how many men actually enjoy obnoxious cunt... not that they'll pay for obnoxious cunt..
Anyways. Sorry if this post is a little all over the place. Theres too much I can say, and im sort of out of it. I want to post a picture of my knees too, im so proud! WOO HOO!
