..So question....
Being a dancer - obviously - is hard on the body. Requiring a ton of cardio and even muscle tone and fitness to keep up with the demands of dancing for hours on end ... yes?
Are there ANY exercises that you recommend to us newbies or even the seasoned dancers who would like to tone up more?
Personally, I am fit, I'm pretty happy with the way I look (most days) but I feel as though my legs/thighs are not as STRONG as they should be to compete with the demands of alot of dancing, dipping and bending...
I'm highly active, my daily workout consists of jogging for 30 minutes a day... 2 sometimes 3 days out of the week, tae bo (I love me some taebo)one day and all the other days and sometimes even in conjunction with the other workouts.... I put on my platforms (6") turn on some fastfast techno and dance dance dance in front of the mirror. (Thats simply because I'm vain and I like to watch myself dance in front of the mirror.) I'd MUCH rather dance for people... but I haven't gotten that far yet.
So ! dancers! WHAT do You like to do (and even EAT) to keep you fit and active for hours on end?!?!
