Default Switching to boots for comfort?

Oh my god. I'm dying over here. My club's shifts are 8 hours long, and if you don't get a VIP, you make your money doing $10 table dances all night. By the 5th or 6th hour, I literally cannot dance anymore because my feet hurt so much. I wear 7 inch clears, and have worn smaller heels it doesn't help.

Are boots more comfortable? Will it help? Do guys like them as much as bare legs?

You have to wear socks with boots. My shoe of choice was clear 7"s without an ankle strap cuz I like to slip my shoes off during a lapdance. Some clubs won't let you cuz you could cut your foot on broken glass, and I've seen it happen to other girls but it never happened to me. I've also cut my foot while I WAS wearing shoes. So for me the extra comfort and less back pain at the end of the night was worth it.

From my experience, no, my boots were hell on my feet. But I'm sure you could find a pair that might be more comfortable than your clears.

And guys are strange. I make less money in my boots, but I see girls who bank in them if they wear them.

Ankle boots like these are good for pole work http://www.snaz75.com/el-709-angela.html but they only look good if you have long enough legs to wear them.

I used to always wear boots cuz thats where I put my money. I said it was my trademark. Lol- like I was the ONLY stripper that wore boots. If you get lace ups still get the ones with the zipper up the inside of the calf cuz it takes forever to lace them and they don't get as dirty.

5" boots with Dr Scholls inserts in them, and a pair of thick comfy socks, are a godsend. I recommend it.

You might have to change your socks a few times throughout the night though...or maybe that's just me. But I find that after 2-3 hours my socks are drenched with sweat.

Yeah it really depends on the boot.

My boots (worn with socks) make me steam up really quickly--our club doesn't have the best A/C system--so I can't wear them for long. Plus, even though they feel comfortable for a stage set or two, your toes will often quickly become jammed at the front of the boots, which causes blistering, etc.

I personally start to get all hot and sweaty in the calf area when I wear boots... on top of that, I really really don't think they are comfortable. Sorry girl.

I used to put these little gelly insert things in my clear heels back when I was dancing more cause the club was busier

    ( )

Anyway, they helped a lot but it did make the shoes feel a little tight.

Also, I run to the dressing room or bathroom a couple of times a night or so and stretch my feet, ankles, and calves real quick.

for the "toes jamming against the front of the boots" problem...you can go to a dance supply store and buy those gel inserts that are made to go in the toe part of pointe shoes. They cost about $15 and make your toes so much more comfy.
