A new girl showed up at work and while getting ready she dabbed a bit of Benetint on her nips. She said it was to make them rosier and 'more attractive.' I've never herd of such a practice. What's the deal?

Just sounds like something to spend more money on on something guys probably do not care about IMO.

I used to put a little bit of pale pink lipstick on mine because they're light but yeah, I realized that guys don't care and that my nipples aren't really THAT light.

The cosmetic sales person working the counter probably told her to use it there. Actually, I'm sure they did. Why?
I use to be an MUA for Benefit, (now Lancome) & we learned that Benetint was originally fabricated for an exotic dancer in the 1980's who wanted a product that would redden her nipples for a long period of time.
Since the skin on your lips & nipples (also, inner vajayjay) are the same, it works on the like areas.
Of course, Benefit doesn't want to advertise Benetint as a product for dancers, so they branded it a "cheek & lip" stain.
I've used it, I also use Glamazon, which is the bronzier version of Benetint. Two of their better products. =)

^ Oh! Very interesting! I think I remember reading that years ago before I danced. There was an article in I think Allure magazine about stripper beauty tips, which I think included that tidbit of info. The only other thing I remember from the article is that apparently strippers use baby shampoo to save money.
^^ That's interesting. I also don't think guys really care that much about nipple color, as long as they're not baby poo green or anything.

I'll have to try this. I don't think guys care all THAT much about nipple color, but a few of them do get really excited about mine being pink instead of brown. I'll try this and see if it makes me any more money.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
I have pink nipples and i hate them!!! I want dark ones.

I have always been jealous of the girls with dark or brown nipples and lips , mine are like super pink andI hate it.

I used to put lipstick on mine to make them redder sometimes... i think its because I remember reading that whores in ye oldie days would rouge you their nipples, and if ppl were going to be looking at my nakedness I would like to feel like a sexy whore.![]()

Why would you hate pink nipples? I thought everyone loved pink ones.
A Good Girl With Bad Intentions

I worked with a girl who had her nipples permanently tattooed pink. She swore they made her more money, especially on stage.
I knew a girl how put brown eyeshadow on hers as with fake tan on her nipple dissapeared so she wanted them darker. I like the idea of red nipples tho, I love the bit at the end of show girls when her nipples are really red and she kicks the shit out of that guy.
I was a 26-year-old stripper before I learned that not all white women have pink ones. I thought only nonwhite women had brown nipples until I became a stripper and saw a lot of brown-nippled white women. No biggie, nipples are nipples and almost all of them are hot, whatever the color!

^^
mine are pink but they are so light pink they are almost translucent coz im so fucking pale![]()

Nippies! My sister has extremely pale pink ones--almost clear--and I have ones that are so dark that people have asked me if I dye them! Just goes to show you that they come in all colors! Just as long as they are symmetrical and cute, the coloring (or lack thereof) doesn't really matter. And translucent ones can look really enigmatic!
Mine are naturally pink to go with my pale skin, but I think they look better when I tan and they get darker...more brownish. But thats just me and what I like on MY body.

Lol, no it's by Benefit. I was just saying I use to work for Benefit, now I'm with Lancome.
This is what it looks like, so you know you're getting the right things:
ALSO... ladies who have pink nipples and want brown/bronze nipples, Benefit also makes a product called Glamazon, which is the brown version of Benetint... it smells soooooo good! I personally use it on my cheeks, since I've already got the brown nipple thing going on. Lol. I <3 it.
& They also just introduced a new product called PosieTint, which is a "posie" pink stain, but it looks more like a creamy consistancy than a liquid one. Anywho, if you got to you can see them all.
