Tonight, I made an enemy... unintentionally:
The DJ was all crazy and f-ing up who was supposed to be on stage at what time and on which stage. I was talking to a customer when I hear my name called to the side stage, so I scurry onto it, halfway through my song. I apologize to the girl for making her wait and she responds with one of the DIRTIEST looks I've ever seen. Then, she grabs her dress from the hook and turns with it positioned over her shoulder so that it hits me in the face! WTF!?!?! I don't know if it was purposeful or not, so... I don't break her nose... or at least complain to management.
Later, on the main stage, I am 10 secs late cuz I was collecting $ for dances. She gave me the SAME look... so I took the dollar that was lying on stage after her set, opened the curtain to the concealed foyer that dancers enter and exit through to get from the stage to the floor and said, "You forgot this!" And tossed it at her, snobbishly. Ok, fine... THREW it at her.
It felt great!!!!!!!
Why would ANY human-being react so nastily over such a trite occurrence? EVERYBODY is late to stage at some point... I am content with an apology when the next girl is late and I happen to be the one waiting for her. I smile and respond, "It's ok."
What is wrong with these girls and how is one to handle them?????

. She still hit her with her dress and did not apologize and her response to Julie's apology was just a DIRTY look. That screams bitchy to me. This was the girl's response the first time Julie was late to stage. I know that there are 2 sides to every story and maybe the 'bitchy dirty look' girl was having an off day. I can't over analyze every thread and can only offer my support/opinion on what the OP said.
