Hi Ladies,
First of all, I want to tell all you dancers out there that I admire your confidence and strength. From doing my research on this site and reading your stories I learned that it's hard work and there will be times that people will get to you. You girls are strong and beautiful and you should all be proud no matter what anyone says!
I want to introduce myself. I'm outgoing and love to have fun. (you only live once) I'm 26 and have wanted to dance since I first saw the "Crazy" Aerosmith video (cheesy, I know). I've worked a corporate day job for the past 4 years and find it incredibly boring. I am currently looking into dancing to spice up my life, cross it off my "i've always wanted to do it" list, to make some extra cash and just have fun. I live in the Boston/Worcester area and I'm trying to figure out where the best place to start is. I would like to start within the next month and work 1-2 nights a week. I've been looking at auditioning at Alex's in Stoughton. That's probably my first choice at this point but I still want to do more research. If anyone out there is in the Boston/Worcester area and could give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it.
And thanks for such a great site. I'd be lost without it.
