Default Feeling like a cow :P

I need some inspiration/ emotional support from the thicker girls on here. I'm about 35-30-35 and despite workouts giving me decent muscle tone still have a sizable pooch and some back flab.

I know it'll get better once I start working, but I'm sweating a bunch over the audition I'll have to do to get there.

ive been feelin' cow-y lately too. since quitting work ive been eating more than usual b/c Im not AT work at have all this food at home, where I have been sitting on my butt instead of dancing and making money. Yeah, I am a bit upset about not working...even though its for a good reason.

Girls make money no matter what. It's not all looks-for the big money like champagne rooms and such it's personality. Don't worry about the audition. They aren't such big deals anyway. Once you get the job you'll be on stage and getting naked so much that you'll laugh at you current worries.

Yeah. It really is the sitting on the butt that makes things harder. Portland is a city with lots of stage work, so once I'm up there I'll be burning pounds off more than I could ever possibly do in the gym.

I'm just, like, argh. Mass of cellulite and angst!

I'm feeling that way too lately. I feel a lot better when I attempt to look good though. Whether that be going to gym, doing pilates, eatting right, tanning or getting my nails/hair done.

I think when you know you are doing everything in your power to look your best you feel more confident. I personally always found that just going to the gym alone made me feel more confident.

^I agree! Even if you don't think you have the energy, just GO to the gym. You'll have to do something once you get there, and even if you don't stay for an hour, at least you did something. And keeping up with your hair/nails/tan is a big help, too. Caring about a part of your look causes a domino effect w/ the rest. At least for me..

All I can tell you is I was really nervous about going back to work. I have gained a few pounds in the last few months, nothing disgusting, but i notice it. I just went in and worked, and if I can offer any encouragement, I think we are much harder on ourselves than men are. No one said, "oh you should lose 5 pounds you'd look so much hotter." I heard nothing but compliments from the guys I danced for. Except for a few assholes, most men are just happy to see a naked woman. They'll appreciate what's hot about you, not focused on the flaws you see on the mirror.

    Good Luck!
