Dont worry.
I have a poor sense of smell. Its not always bad. Like if people fart its actually a blessing.
Just to make sure I'm reading what you wrote correctly, you are done with the antibiotics but still have congestion, nose bleeds, severe headaches and disorientation?
Sounds like when I get a sinus infection, minus the nose bleed since I've never had one -knocks on wood-. Does the headache hurt around your cheeks/temples or the back of your neck? Those are the areas that hurt me the most when I get an infection.
That's really one of the only things I can think of, but that might be due to all the infections I've had in my sinuses over the years! It's possible that the antibiotics weren't strong enough to kill off this infection, so I strongly suggest you get your butt back to the doctor.
Since you can taste some things I think you're going to get your sense of smell back at some point. If you can taste, you have to be able to smell. The senses are interconnected like that, I think.
If you don't feel better after a course of antibiotics get back to the doctor or get a second opinion. Feel better and keep us updated!!
You feeling any better? Did you decide if you're going to to Dr again?

I had a bad nasty flu-like thing several years ago. It is apparently one of the causes of anosmia. That is the technical term for not being able to smell or tase.
Two other ways for it to happen are being born with it or brain trauma that injures the part of the brain responsible for smell and taste.
I have been taking anti-oxidants (OPC-3) and find that as time goes on, they are helping to heal whatever it was from that flu in small increments. I now get smells and tastes more often.. and boy do I enjoy them!!

If you're worried about sense of smell, don't use zinc gel! In several rare cases, it's caused someone's sense of smell to vanish permanently (though one person got it back via acupuncture.)
Otherwise -- I think you're fairly safe -- just blocked up.
Best way to clear sinuses in a hurry is to eat way too much wasabi, IMO. Or be in the room while someone cooks with hot peppers. Be warned it will make you feel like you've been maced.
