    Default A henna question

I henna'd my hair and it's just one shade off from being exactly perfect. It's, like, one step too far in the orange/strawberry blond direction. I think that if I'd used coffee instead of water when I did it I'd have gotten the perfect color. So... can I put coffee in it now? Mix a lot of coffee with a little henna and do it again? Or should I just not fuck with it?

I wouldn't think it would hurt, unless the henna you used wasn't natural, some of them put dies in their henna to make it darker or other shades.

It's just ground henna. I bought the plant and ground it myself.

Henna will darken over a few days after it's done. Give it a couple.

www.hennaforhair.com is an awesome forum with tooons of info! Good luck! You could try adding a spoonful of indigo, but careful, that shit DOES NOT come out...

Let your hair oxidize; mine always looks too orange the first day or so.

After that, yeah you can use coffee, or a tiny bit of indigo. Strand test!
