Default "The SW Triangle" claims unknown number

"The Bermuda Triangle" is formed by a stretch of the Atlantic Ocean that's bordered by a line from Florida to the islands of Bermuda, to Puerto Rico and then back to Florida. It earned its name following tales about the abrupt disappearances of a number of ships and planes.

IMO, "The SW Triangle" is characterized by a stretch of interactions between SW members that's a progression from rational discussion to intense disagreement, to hostility and then back to rational discussion. This toxic zone appears to have claimed numerous members of late, including B, Callyish, Sunday Morning, Lonelily, Golden Rule, Eric Stoner and others who have either communicated their distress or vanished without a trace.

What forces are causing this SW vortex? Is it a lack of anger management? Poor conflict resolution? Snarkenfreude or Schadenfreude? Dipshitude or Douchesperency? Plain old malice?

Does anyone have any thoughts, suggestions or ridicule regarding this idea?

I blame the Russians. We haven't blamed them in a while. Either that or they end up in "Wyoming" but you didn't hear that from me.

It's like when you get into a fight with your family. Youhang up on them, storm out, and say I'll never speak to you again!!

But then a few weeks go by, you remember how much you love them, and go back. And they take you in with open arms, because they are your family.

Its just how the internet turns. Oddly, to me at least, its like a strip club where newbies come in and become regular girls. Every so often they disappear and I am left watching new ones come in and take their places. I don't mourn their lack of presence but instead wish them well on their new journey.

Yeah, but 6,000 posts in 6 years isn't bad.

Some of those "losers" had 4,000 in a matter of months.

    Good riddance.

Budai, I looked up "victims of the Bermuda Triangle" to see if there were any similarities among victim groups. Got this, it's pretty good. wahaa.
