Default I danced my ass off...

and made 156 after tip out... I sould a couple of dances, but made most of it on stage... I got over my fear of floorwork and now I'm sore as hell. It was crazy though... when I had worked there a month or so ago before, I didnt have guys trynig to have sex with me, and I did last night. This one guy got a boner and tried to tell me to take care of it cuz it was his birthday. I wasnt really sure how to anwser his questions... really say no without being a bitch, but I guess the job calls for it sometimes. Then a bunch of gay guys came in... they made it rain in the club... also made my stage time alot more fun. It's nice to actually interact with a custy on stage vs. feeling like your a piece of meat! So that was my night... Quick question, how do you tell people no and acutually have them back off. I dont want to give my number out, but they don't want to take a simple no, I said I would get fired... They looked at me like yeah right, so I took theres (gay guy's), and the horny guy's card!

You've got to learn to say no. If some dude asks you to take care of his hard on, bitchery is almost required at that point! Laugh at him. Seriously.

I take lots of guys cards, if they're offered, but I promise nothing and throw them out.

I say very sweetly, "oh, sweetiepie, if I wanted to work in a brothel then we'd be at the Bunny Ranch right now."

Learn the phrase "I'm a dancer, not a whore." It shuts most guys up 95% of the time, and it makes them feel guilty, instead of making you into a bitch. But yeah, you will learn to dance defensively and say no... actually laughing it off is a really good piece of advice. If they shut up after that, it keeps things light. If not, try the line I suggested above... and if they're being really pushy/gropy simply collect your money and walk away, or call the bouncer.

^^I believe he's a guy and therefore lives in magical 'how things should be' land.

This attitude is not conducive to making money. And throwing a guy out for saying something ... isn't gonna happen. Unless he specifically solicits prostitution (saying "how much for sex" or something similar) you really can't do that. Plus he can be milked for more money.

I it was pretty creepy being asked if I would do a private party for 200$ when he's obviously asking to hit it! Turning those nasty comments or questions into a joke would seem to help and resolve it... I'll try it at work on Friday. My manager came up to me after his dances were over and was like "Im surised you talked to him, he was an asshole". No denying that, but I havent learned the ropes as of yet, and dont really know what proper stripper etiquette is. i dancer in my club told a group of men they had to tip or get out, I was like woah we can say what we want! Ha, they came in and paid 80$ 5 minutes before close and just stared with their mouths open!

^^depending on my mood I'll just walk away from those guys. Or laugh. The best thing about this job is you can walk away from these guys. Some of them ARE out of control. Some are just ignorant. I do try to keep it light-'haha guys, you know we don't do that, let's go have some fun!' but if they are pushy or vulgar, move on.

It's normal to be unsure of how to deal with some of their comments. The 1st night I worked someone offered me money for sex and I got flustered and just said I was married (not true and VERY bad for business!)

Now I tell them that it's illegal for them to ask, and I can't because ... it's illegal. Sometimes that will scare them into not asking every single girl, sometimes it won't. Or I'll say my p*ssy is way too expensive for them. LOL

When a guy says "wanna do a private party" sometimes he is asking for sex, or assuming that's what happens at a private party. Or he could be really asking about just a party. It's best to say that you don't do them because you don't like the hassle of hiring security. They may come back with "oh, you don't need security with me" and you say it's standard policy to have security because you know how rowdy partying boys can be!

Say everything with a giggle, or seem really sorry you can't accommodate them because of the clubs rules, or the law, or something. Make it seem like it's not your fault, it's some big bad rule makers.

I treat my lady's with respect and they return that respect by letting me do my job. I don't interfear with there money unless they are trying to get away with breaking the rules... then I am an Arse.
you dont "interfear"? how bout you don't "interfear" in sections meant for the "lady's", otherwise known as dancers?

i wouldnt WORK for a manager who kicked customers out for such a stupid little comment. do you realize how many customers are actually left after that? oh.. nevermind.. if you're so interested in the stripper sections, run on over and do a search about what we think of the intelligence level of most managers. no need for me to say it again.

As for the phone number thing...unless you are cultivating the guy as a reg...pick a number off this site that has an area code close to you and give him that..
